I think that you dont have to necessarily believe your acne is beautiful, but that shouldn't stop you from believing you can be beautiful, while still having acne. idk if that makes sense but when you say acne isn't beautiful it makes a person think that because they have acne they CAN'T be beautiful or that their acne makes them less attractive. so I think that you dont have to think acne is beautiful but believe you're still beautiful even if you have it. hope that makes sense.

I listened to Thomas's recounting of his experience running for president, and his honest and we'll articulated expression of his not feeling validated by his parents. I have heard that this pressure to be a superachiever is not uncommon with Asian parents in the US. I feel you. You can tell your parents how you feel but they may not understand as well as you would like. Sometimes we are born into a family that is less than perfect. Thomas has a lot of positive qualities and I'm sure he has and will accomplish awesome things. He is fortunate to have good friends (like you guys) who can give him the validation he needs. Everyone needs validation. On the other hand, it is also advisable not to care too much what people think of us. Anyway, Thomas, you're awesome, you're young, this too shall pass...

So glad I found this Podcast! I’m a mom of a fourteen year old boy who just started his first year of high school. I love listening to every one of you and all the things you go through as a teen. It’s courageous to speak out and express your feelings, wish more teens would do this. Keep up the good work... you all are amazing! 🌟

Good episode guys. One correction. A person can avoid Type II diabetes by eating right and exercise/physical activity, but even if he develops diabetes he can reverse it by the same thing - serious physical activity and eating the right foods. Some physicians don't know this, because they were educated in medical schools that were kind of influenced by big drug companies who unfortunately like the profits from selling medications a little too much.
