The US Open 2025 Women’s final is set and it’s a rematch of THAT Wimbledon semifinals that saw Amanda Anisimova upset the world number 1 Aryna Sabalenka in a fabulous contest. Anisimova will be hoping to replicate that victory when she faces off against Sabalenka on Saturday night but will the memory of the 6-0 6-0 Wimbledon final defeat be in the back of her mind going into another final. Anisimova stunned two time former champion Naomi Osaka in the semi-final in three tight sets and 3 hours to advance to her second consecutive grand slam final. Osaka at one point was just one game away from a 3rd final in New York before Anisimova bounced back to power to victory.
