Belgian DJ ROW1 is riding the crest of a new wave of hard dance talent that is emerging from Europe’s underground. Still early in his journey but already shaping things with a distinct identity, his approach leans into intensity, emotion and instinct, but always with unstoppable momentum. This year, he has continued to play live and serve up his own tunes: they're bold and bouncy and, he says in this interview, often inspired by interactions with dancers in the club. He also expands on what he has already learnt in the DJ booth, how he approaches his sets and the role the gear plays in how he plays. Read on and tune into the accompanying mix, which is a blend of hard dance and trance inspirations. >>> FOLLOW ROW1>>> @row1_music >>> FOLLOW US >>> Soundcloud - @terminalvfest Facebook - www.facebook.com/terminalvfest/ Instagram - www.instagram.com/terminalvfest/ Twitter / X - X.com/TerminalVFest --------------------------- Terminal V 2026 - terminalv.co.uk/festival/ Terminal V Croatia 2026 - terminalv.co.uk/festival/ Terminal V Records - terminalvrecords.co.uk

His tracks have blown up on cult labels like Bordello a Parigi, DGTL and Correspondant, and he also heads up Agrio Tracks, a place where emerging talents feel at home. We caught up with him to talk about the highs and lows of hitting the road, running a label in 2026, crafting nuanced sets that still hit hard, and his vision for a year of more sun-soaked grooves, musicality, and straight-up joy on the dancefloor. The London-based new boy has already perfected the art of layering his hard grooves with euphoric energy, both in the booth and in the studio. His tunes on Beardman, Pretty Weird and Wavelengths have been supported by the likes of Interplanetary Criminals and Mark Broom, who, he admits, is a large part of the reasons he plays the sounds he does. Ahead of a first big Australian tour, we speak to the fast-rising star about finding balance when playing fast, how he challenges himself with his Rinse FM show and what he wanted to achieve with this week's mix. It's a great snapshot of where he's at and the sort of selection that will power you through to the weekend in no time.

Melbourne's high-energy dance explosion is being fuelled in part by breakout stars like native talent CRUSH3d. He says his main aim as an artist is to conjure good vibes on the dance floor, and he's now doing that across his homeland and as far afield as London. As heard on his new album ev3r, his tunes are a heartfelt blend of warm and rubbery drums and pensive pads, often topped with a nagging vocal hook. They work as well for chilled out home listening as they do for dreamy dance floor escapes and on this week's mix he mixes up that signature sound with some low slung bass, wild club rhythms and tranced out house that's perfect for those late afternoon into early evening sessions when the golden hour sets in.

Cadzow is part of the new wave of Scottish artists who are setting the hard techno agenda. The Glaswegian works through his tunes at pace, keeping dancers locked with selections that dip into several sub-genres, and often draws from plenty of his own originals and edits to keep things fresh. He’s already left his mark on us with two standout performances at the iconic Terminal V festival and whether he's working with vocals to anchor a track or laying down bouncy low ends on labels like HEKATE Records, NowNow and Reckless, he always does it with his own fingerprint. From humble beginnings on a DDJ-400 in his bedroom just a couple of years ago to no headlining festival stages and packed clubs, he’s a man on the charge.
