For Week 4 of our Slaycation month we visit our aunt in rural Japan with 1977's House (Hausu). We debate the scariest household items to be attacked by, go bananas (literally), discuss Hugh Laurie far too much, and review this CLASSICALLY INSANE film!
This week we have a Lisa Special with The Devil All the Time featuring more than one Spiderman. We debate what American actors would work in this film and discuss how to woo women by putting spiders on your face.
After surviving the weather in Texas this week (and Mitch's internet going out while recording), we get around to the comparatively light-hearted movie of the week Saint Maud! We debate the bleakest locations for a movie (outside Idaho) and brainstorm Mitch's funeral.
TPM All-Star Kevin Castle joins our podcast party to review Happy Birthday To Me the 1981 slasher classic. We debate ridiculous movie deaths, weights vs. scarf kills, and talk about chloroform so much WE almost pass out.
This week Mitch has picked the 2001 cult classic Donnie Darko for us to review. We debate the first movies that made us go down the rabbit hole, discuss Hot Topic for some reason, and the horror of clean-cut Seth Rogen.
This week we review (barely for Lisa) listener request The Poughkeepsie Tapes. We debate which horror killer to feature in a true-crime documentary, talk about how non-Unsuspecting Victim friendly this movie is, and have a true crime intervention for Mitch.
This week we review the last movie we saw in theaters, Invisible Man from Leigh Whannell. We debate pranks to play while invisible, Hollow Man 2 (for some reason), and why innocent food had to be murdered.
2021 is finally here and we have a special episode to celebrate. Lisa and Mitch review 2020's Shudder exclusive Scare Me, debate the scariest stories they've ever heard, and talk trash about Nate while he's on vacation.
Re-release of episode 31!Join the TPM crew as they debate the best inanimate material to merge your DNA with for either laziness or to kill. Once the snowball is rolling the TPM hosts and unsuspecting victims turn up the heat on bad-movie classic 'Jack Frost'.
This week Lisa takes over as the host and picks the maybe horror film/Christmas classic Edwards Scissorhands to review. We debate Winona Ryder's place in horror and school Mitch on how great a film this is!
This week we kick off the holiday season by cutting our teeth on the Syfy Christmas film Santa Jaws. Unsuspecting Victim Taylor pitches a film called Santantelope and we spend way too much time talking German magic pens. Segments: Debate Question (6:40): What animal with a Santa hat movie would you make? Movie Review (21:25): Santa Jaws (2018) Final Cut (75:05): Movie review scores from hosts and guest Texas Podcast Massacre is a labor of love for us longtime horror fans. We celebrate Thanksgiving early this week with the movie Pilgrim from Hulu's Into the Dark series. We pitch holidays where reenactors would be terrifying and talk about berries far too long.
This week Lisa is back to review the classic sequel Gremlins 2: The New Batch! We talk about Gizmo in space, the worst office building of all time, and physics-breaking Gremlins made only of electricity.
This week we go full mean girl with Unsuspecting Victims Kendall and Jill as we review the 1999 teen film Jawbreaker. We discuss choir kidnappings, prom night revenge and Marilyn Manson's creepy, creepy mustache!
This week we're all abuzz about 1992's Candyman! We debate if Candyman could take Freddy or Leprechaun (the answer is yes) and get our hooks into the meat of this film.
After seeing it last year at Fantastic Fest we go back into the Cage to review the Lovecraft adaption Color Out of Space. We talk about all of the shades of magenta, alpaca massacres, and the best hydrologist this side of the Mississippi.
In this special episode, we talk about our favorite films from this year's virtual Fantastic Fest and talk about some of the independent horror films we've watched recently.
This week we invite back TPM All-Star Kevin Castle to review the classic Shudder film The Hills Have Eyes. We debate if the tire from Rubber would be a good addition to the film, discuss Centrum Silver way too much, and gush over a very good dog.
This week we welcome back Unsuspecting Victims Liz and David and they do not care for this week's movie The Babysitter: Killer Queen! We debate what to do when you come back from limbo, dish casserole recipe requests from PornHub, and review this Netflix sequel.
