Kaysha has been doing beach cleanups in California for years and she strongly believes that it is necessary to educate the public on the importance of environmental conservation and climate anxiety. What's very interesting is Kaysha also mentioned how we can build strong strong connections with marine animals and how they can truly feel how we care for them! Kaysha reminds us of the importance to talk about climate anxiety and how it's a serious matter. We usually think " what difference can I make? It doesn't matter anyway... The planet's already in trouble so why should I contribute?" and this is exactly why we should be part of this cause and we need to work together. We don't have to do it perfectly, what matters is we all try. Helmy El Said is a true adventurer and he has the medals, the scars and the stories to prove it. He set out to cycle across Europe and ended up travelling through a lot of countries, endured extreme conditions and winds and storms and was attacked by a drunk on his journey (May or may not be true, you'll have to listen to figure it out) He's also an Eco-warrior that works on our sea every day through his dredging business and constantly advocates for our nature and environment. A captivating conversation with Cath. A French Canadian mermaid that followed a dream of blue that she has never seen. That dream led her to Dahab, a coastal town in Egypt, that is considered to be one the most treasured diving destinations in the world. Initially, Cath came to Egypt to stay for a few weeks. 3 years later, Cath is still in Dahab working as a freediving and yoga instructor, cleaning the sea, and raising awareness about the inevitable ocean crisis that we are facing.
