In a scenario almost impossible to imagine at the inception of this podcast, the boys head to Kensington Palace to eat Samrat samosas with the Duke of Cambridge. Slightly overawed and in inappropriate clothing, they hear from the future king of the realm about his love of Aston Villa, whether he could get the England manager sacked and if he would consider Crouchy for his six-a-side team. In return he offers beer, decent whisky and a special delivery from a podcast favourite.
A week before the pub finale, this update from Crouchy may not give you confidence that he can deliver - but have we ever let you down before?
Can the boys get back in the pub? Should doors be abandoned? And should Crouchy invest in a moat? Plus find out if we have found the nation's youngest Ian.
WFH: With Theo Walcott

Crouchy launches a campaign to save the name 'Ian', reveals why 'Iains' are 'no good' and there's a vital clue as the boys push to get Banksy involved in the pod.

Absolutely love the podcast chaps. I've listened to all the episodes whilst working in isolation collating paperwork to prove that our NHS services are worthy of accreditation (they are the best). Tbh, it's been tougher than painting the sixteenth chapel (you fuckwit Chris!). Without the pod I wouldn't have got halfway through it (probably how Leonardo DiCaprio (Chris!!) felt when painting his ceiling. Get #backstronger soon to get me over the finishing line, so our wonderful physiology services get the recognition they truly deserve. And can you add "fuck off Shiela" to your repertoire. Back in the 80s, on a school away trip, my mate, was thoughtfully saying good night to everyone, until he got to one poor class mate, Shiela. For reasons only known to him he launched a visceral "fuck off Shiela" instead of a gentle "good night" and instantly reduced Shiela to tears. Every night from then on then on it was "fuck off Shiela". I'd like to think that him trying to show how he really meant it to be a funny jokey thing, trying to soften the impact of the first nights shocking expletive, but looking back it was just training as he became the youngest plod to join the West Mids police. Don't know what ever happened to Shiela. She's probably doing time for a crime she never committed! Cheers Grog

Kasper says that going abroad with British lads you have find something British to drink and they all had Guinness. Guinness is born and bred in Dublin, Ireland and is not a British drink

If you like childish banter and humour or wheezing asthmatic sounds, this is the podcast for you. It is apparently highly rated, I am surprised. Having listened to every episode, it started quite average and has descended into the current drivel. In my humble opinion, the Lineker and Baker podcast is far superior. I will probably persist while under lockdown then cancel my subscription.
