On today’s episode of That Peter Crouch Podcast, Crouchy, Chris and Sids are joined by fellow Brighton and Tottenham alumni, Bobby Zamora. The lads dig down into some of his most iconic footballing moments, including his unforgettable promotion winning goal in the play off finals which helped secure QPR’s return to the top flight. Bobby also sheds light on the origins of Notorious’ notorious nickname bonfire, as well as some questionable fancy dress outfits he has seen the big man don on the occasional night out. Chris also entertains the lads with some casual, non scripted guitar solos and the lads have an update on their quest for a blue plaque and the ultimate showdown in go-karting history. Chumbawamba 00:00 Intro05:17 Blue Plaques07:22 Bobby Zamora09:10 Fancy Dress 12:44 Humble Beginnings23:25 Striker!27:06 Career Moves 30:48 Day-to-Day36:10 FA Cup Final 40:18 Football Friends44:21 The Changing Game51:07 Europa League 54:37 Aguero!Subscribe to https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFULBvlxNWW8cWsrV6fGrcwFollow our Clips page https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLNBLB3xr3LyiyAkhZEtiAA For more Peter Crouch: Twitter - https://twitter.com/petercrouch Therapy Crouch - https://www.youtube.com/@thetherapycrouch For more Chris Stark Twitter - https://twitter.com/Chris_StarkInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/chrisstark/For more Steve Sidwell Twitter - https://twitter.com/sjsidwell Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/stevesidwell14 #PeterCrouch #ThatPeterCrouchPodcast Hosted on Acast. After an international break where Keir Starmer wearing shin pads was one of the biggest headlines the boys are thrilled to have the Premier League back this weekend. During the international break Crouchy even managed to get a correct score which is beyond baffling given the previous sh*t shows of predictions which have come up during previous international breaks. The valuable 3 points now leaves Sids in last place as Crouchy and Chris now sit joint top of table.Days after Arteta has signed a new deal at Arsenal they travel to Spurs. Big Ange's side are still yet to kick on this season so will this be the perfect opportunity to pull out a big performance against there bitter rivals? Elsewhere the circus at Chelsea continues, pitch invaders with 69 on their shirt and Premier League officials have gone down to non-league to give lessons on how to hold a flag. On today’s episode of That Peter Crouch Podcast, Crouchy, Chris and Sids are looking at how some seemingly invincible teams of bygone eras suddenly find themselves tumbling down the football pyramid..With Everton, a former giant of the English and European leagues, making headlines recently for all the wrong reasons, the boys thought it only right to dig down into where it all went wrong, not just for them but other teams that have found themselves in similar situations.Does the ownership of these problems lie with the players? Managers? The League Itself? Crouchy and the boys leave no stone unturned when getting to the bottom of this puzzling conundrum and give some advice for other clubs on how to avoid the same fate. The lads also have an update on some of this season’s other big events, including the go-karting showdown billed between Hypia and Bridgey, and we hear more from you guys about some of the most bizarre competition wins you have ever experienced. Chumbawamba00:00 Introduction04:38 Hypia V Bridgey13:17 Crazy Competitions16:05 Disc Golf20:31 Football Financial Issues24:41 This is Heritage33:59 Ownership38:10 Relegation Realities43:10 Homegrown48:23 Listener MessagesSubscribe to https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFULBvlxNWW8cWsrV6fGrcwFollow our Clips page https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLNBLB3xr3LyiyAkhZEtiAA For more Peter Crouch: Twitter - https://twitter.com/petercrouch Therapy Crouch - https://www.youtube.com/@thetherapycrouch For more Chris Stark Twitter - https://twitter.com/Chris_StarkInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/chrisstark/For more Steve Sidwell Twitter - https://twitter.com/sjsidwell Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/stevesidwell14 #PeterCrouch #ThatPeterCrouchPodcast Hosted on Acast. Who thought a painting podcast was a good idea? It is as entertaining as you'd expect, not very.

I suggest the forfeit should be the looser has to eat one profiterole for every goal they got wrong in the predicted scores over the season, whilst drinking four pints of the brewdog black stuff, wearing ben sherman named pants and a bib. Ho and all this has to be done in the time it takes for the average podcast. your welcome ;)

Used to be a great podcast, series 1 is where it peaked to be honest - with genuinely interesting insight into the life of a professional footballer (role of the captain outside of the pitch etc). It has since gone downhill sadly, most chat about what to do with ‘statman Dave’ before the series ends - although the Pele episode was refreshing. It would be nice to hear more stories of players, dressing room antics, how sponsors approached players etc etc Sadly it’s mostly lacking now.
