Description

We now know that Jeffrey Epstein was a sexual predator. He was also accused of fraud, embezzlement, coercion and more. But for most of his life, he was a mystery to the public, and to many of the people who knew him. In this six part series, we peel back the layers of Epstein’s life to detail his financial and sexual crimes, and his network of enablers, with original reporting and interviews. From humble beginnings, Epstein came to amass significant wealth which he used to buy sex, social status, silence, even justice —until money wasn’t enough. From Wondery (“Dirty John”, “The Shrink Next Door”), and hosted by Lindsay Graham (“American Scandal”).

Introducing Detective Trapp

2019-11-1900:08:328

Anaheim investigator Julissa Trapp is not like other detectives. She’s the only woman on the homicide squad, and a skilled chameleon: undercover cop in vice stings, crime-scene commander, patient confidante of killers. A master interrogator, she invokes her personal experience – and deepest griefs – as a tool to elicit confessions. When a young woman’s body is found at a trash-sorting plant, Trapp learns the murder may be linked to the disappearance of three other women in nearby Santa Ana. Trapp embarks on a dark journey that brings her face to face with a man who takes “a little piece of her soul.” Listen now at wondery.fm/TrappTMME

I've listened to hundreds of podcasts and this has more ads than any other. Sounds more like ads interspersed with a story, than a story interspersed with ads. Terrible

Jesus Christ, if you prey on children who CANNOT consent to sex, that doesn't compare to homosexuality.

Yikes. What I'm learning here is that if you have enough money and power you're above the law.

Jeffrey Epstein didn't kill himself... does this podcast describe how the Clinton Foundation is also a HUGE child sex trafficker? How MANY, MANY in Hollywood, or Pedowood, are soul selling pedophiles? Does it tell you about them scaring the living hell out of little kids, before they are sacrificed for their Adrenochrome?

Another wonderful podcast by Wondery. Good job condensing this sordid story into easy-to-follow episodes. I'll keep subscribed so I can get any updates on this case. I hope they catch the Maxwell lady! Although, it might be in the interest of many powerful men that she remains well hidden...

Her voice makes me want to jam butter knives in my ears. Also, Hillary didn't lose because she's female, she lost because she's a criminal. I'm not sure why this woman would be against Epstein, but completely okay with the Clintons who were totally involved in this world.

I loved the podcast and saw absolutely NO problem with the commercials. if someone did, hit the friggin button and fast forward through them, OR,......don't listen. the lady being interviewed in the last episode has a voice that I find very hard to listen to. :) sort is a gutteral, deep throat gargle. :) love the podcast though. very informative

Only at the 2nd episode but it’s incredible and extremely shocking on all levels. The rule of law should apply to everyone. If he were poor, he would’ve been locked away for years and years.
