The 'Cast of Us: A Last of Us & Walking Dead 'Cast

Fans of The Walking Dead know it's so much more than a zombie show. It's an emotionally rich, character-driven series about love and loss, and found family, and the lengths we'd go through to protect the people we care about. That's what's kept us coming back all these years. (And also we like zombies.)

I’m Jason Cabassi. My cohost Karen and I started podcasting about The Walking Dead back in 2010. Along the way, I’ve appeared on the show a couple of times as a walker, hosted hundreds of Q&A panels with TWD actors at conventions across the U.S., and eventually teamed up with my current co-host, the witty and insightful Lucy Hinnie. Together—with some incredible guests—we’ve covered The Last of Us and every Walking Dead spinoff, from Fear to Dead City.

Right now, we’re enjoying a rewatch of the original series—with the full story in mind—and diving into the moments that still hit hard. Past guests on the podcast include Andrew Lincoln (Rick), Danai Gurira (Michonne), Norman Reedus (Daryl), Steven Yeun (Glenn), Lauren Cohan (Maggie), Robert Kirkman, Angela Kang, Greg Nicotero, and many more.

And the most fun and fulfilling part of all this has absolutely been interacting with you guys and making it a conversation. So write in, send a voice message, and be part of it!

Email or send a voice message to us at talk@podcastica.com

Find us online at podcastica.com

Join our group at facebook.com/podcastica

Support us at patreon.com/jasoncabassi

We're Podcastica, and we've been doing episode-by-episode deep dives into great TV for over a decade now. BONUS: Introducing Wax Episodic — Alien: Earth S1E1&2

Bonus Episode: Introducing Wax Episodic Hi, Jason here. This is a special bonus episode reposted from my new podcast, Wax Episodic, where I cover top-tier, story-rich TV shows one season at a time with different co-hosts. We’re kicking things off with Alien: Earth, and I wanted to share the first episode here so you can check it out. Aside from Beth being kidnapped, I’d forgotten just about everything from this episode, but it was a great one, with some very entertaining exchanges between Bob and Sasha, and of course the moments that that launched a thousand Bethyl fan fictions :) I’m thrilled to be joined by Randy to talk it out (and Lucy will be back next week for The Grove if I can just find that car that drove off with her….). PS We forgot to mention it on the podcast, but happy 15th anniversary to The Walking Dead ‘Cast / The ‘Cast of Us! Still loving it just as much as the day I started. And in honor of that…. ANNOUNCEMENT: Did you hear? Karen and I are going to be podcasting on a series together again! just sharing that, as a person of faith, I found it fascinating to learn other perspectives. I was not offended at all, many people who live a life of faith can respect other's belief systems. The entire story line of Gabriel is interesting. I loved the story line of Hershel (sr.) and his faith, and how much Maggie has changed as she started having at least some faith. Remembering back to the "She taught me to love" conversation with her dad at the farm.
