The Miracle at the Meadowlands refers to a game in 1978 where the New York Giants lost to the Philadelphia Eagles due to a fumble on the last play of the game. This event led to the creation of the "Victory Formation" in football. The Gatorade bath tradition started in 1984 when a player on the Giants, Jim Burt, dumped Gatorade on coach Bill Parcells after a victory. The tradition was carried on by "The Godfather of the Gatorade Bath", Harry Carson...12Kyle's uncle. Dousing the winning coach with Gatorade became a symbol of victory in sports.
