The 49ers Triumvirate

The 49ers went into the Big Apples laid down a Giant ass whooping! Mac10 had 14 straight completions, CMC and B-Rob went off, the defense and special teams executed; it was the necessary “get right game” just in time for round 2 against the Rams.

One of the worst offensive and defensive performances in a long time led to an ugly loss to the Texans. The defense couldn’t get off the field and the offense couldn’t stay on the field. What went wrong? Tune in, we say it like it is.

The brightest stars shine on Prime Time and that’s exactly what CMC did on SNF! The 49ers defeat the Falcons 20-10! Injuries and next man up are the common thread and Mac unlocks that $400K incentive as he gets the 4th “W”!

After upsetting the Rams on TNF, the 49ers suffered a loss to the Bucs 19-30 but the biggest loss was losing captain Fred Warner for the rest of the season. Injuries continue to pile up, should the 49ers make a trade before the deadline? “Mac10” is slated to make another start on SNF against the Falcons, how longer until we see Purdy back? The 49ers have suffered their first loss and it came at home to the Jaguars to the score of 21-26. It was an ugly loss and all eyes were on the quarterback. We were hoping to see franchise quarterback Brock Purdy but instead we saw a QB that had us thinking, “is this Brock Garoppolo?!”

Don’t call it a comeback, it was the return of the Mac! The 49ers marched into NOLA and walked out with another “W” with a 26-21 victory. Mac Jones had an impressive outing with, not 1, but 3 TDs. Should it have been Mac drafted in 2021? We discuss that and more!

Opening week is in the books, the 49ers went up to Seattle, left banged up, but luckily escaped with the “W!” Purdy forced a few throws but, in the end, Tonges, with the “Los Gatos Leap”, scored the game winning TD! The price of victory? Kittle is out at least 4 weeks and Franchise QB Brock Purdy will miss 2 to 5 weeks. Can Mac Jones and the return of Kendrick Bourne steer the ship? We find out Sunday!

After a disappointing season last year that was riddled with injuries, and no playoff appearance, the 49ers are ready to take on the division rival Seahawks for their week 1 matchup. Familiar faces like Deebo and Greenlaw are gone. The focal point is now squarely on Brock Purdy after signing that Franchise QB contract with $100M guaranteed! Question is, is he worth it?

It is January 2025 and the 49ers season is over! The Super Bowl hangover was very much real, not only did the 49ers miss the playoffs, we came in dead last in the NFC West! The Avengers never assembled and Purdy and Kyle both regressed. Was one to blame more than the other? We debate!

The 49ers are back! Finally, a complete game all the way thru but just like the tittle suggests, albeit in Spanish, it is too little, too late! Purdy was vintage 2023, Kyle was in his bag, and Kittle reminded everyone why he’s the people’s tight end; where was this all season long? The 49ers no longer control their own destiny, they are now in the “if” scenarios but it starts with taking care of business on Thursday Night Football!

After back to back ass whoopings, the 49ers are in shambles and so are the fans! CMC is back on IR and now JP Mason is joining him. Another tragedy, Trent Williams Jr. died at birth on 11/24 and all of our hearts are broken. So much emotional damage, this was a much needed therapeutic episode!!

It was time to go on a run and the 49ers fell flat on their face! Lack of discipline, sloppy, lethargic, and average just about summarizes this team that is now last in the NFC West. There are 7 games left but many fans are asking, “Is it time to move on from Kyle?” You don’t want to miss this debate!

Another must win game, right before the bye, against an all too familiar foe in the hated Dallas Cowboys. When it was all said and done, the 49ers came out on top and quite possibly ended the Cowboys’ season! Purdy had a much better game and a phenomenal 3rd quarter. Kyle is steering the ship in the right direction, 4-4 at the half way mark, if CMC can come back the team is poised to go on a run!

It was not considered a Super Bowl rematch by the 49ers coaches or players but unfortunately it was the same result: another loss to the Chiefs. Shanahan cannot solve the offensive red zone struggles and Brock Purdy quite possibly had the worst game of his career! Is Kyle on the hot seat? Is Purdy worth Franchise QB money? A step in the right direction can start on Sunday by handling business against the much hated Cowboys!

It was a must-win and the 49ers took care of business beating the Seahawks to be on top of the NFC West. Brock Purdy had a spectacular game and is now starting to get his flowers. The timing is perfect, next up are the Chiefs. This is NOT a Super Bowl rematch but the 49ers need this victory for their mental health!

It’s early in the season, but the 49ers are dead last in the division and had another 4th quarter debacle. Missed assignments, poor tackling, poor decisions; they just are not good enough. Brock Purdy was the catalyst to the offense but also put the ball in harms way. Frustrations are running high and they have a short week to get ready for another division game against the Seahawks.

Throw out all the disgusting and negative adjectives and superlatives you can think of and only then will you get a glimpse of how putrid this loss was. The debacle of the defense and special teams overshadowed the stellar performance put on by Purdy and Jennings. Plenty of blame to go around but the 49ers must get right against the Patriots come Sunday!

The last time the 49ers won in Minnesota was December 13, 1992 and that streak will unfortunately continue. The potent offense was held under 20 points and Brock Purdy had one of his worst games of his career. The defense couldn’t get off on third downs and gave up the longest pass for a TD in 49ers history! It’s early in the season but we need the Smooth Criminal that was Brock Purdy back quick, fast and in a hurry!

The dreadful offseason after a Super Bowl loss is finally over. Painful memories remain but they must be set aside as another long climb up the mountain awaits. Contracts have been negotiated, restructured and signed. It’s now Super Bowl or Bust!

The time was now, George Kittle promised the 49ers would be back for revenge. The team was relaxed, healthy and ready to go. When it was all said and done, however, we were left with an all too familiar feeling. The 49ers lost Super Bowl LVIII, leaving the Faithful heart broken, right on time for a Valentine’s Day special finale.
