You’ve been told your labs are “normal.” Your doctor says “just take progesterone.” And is IVF the ONLY(very expensive) route to conceive? In this eye-opening episode, functional fertility specialist Kristen DeAngelis shares what’s really missing in today’s fertility care — and how to reclaim your health, your hormones, and your hope.
In this episode, I sit down to chat with Martha Hodges, a former client, while she shared a raw, unfiltered look at what postpartum recovery actually looks like for so many women—but rarely gets talked about. From back pain and nerve issues to SPD and the total unraveling of her body after baby number three, Martha’s journey is one of struggle, resilience, and finally—healing. If you've ever felt like your postpartum experience was anything but "normal," this conversation is for you. If you've ever felt like your postpartum experience was anything but "normal," this conversation is for you.
What if everything you thought about postpartum recovery was wrong? In this episode, I chat with Coach Gloria Natale to break down the real deal of postpartum training—beyond the Instagram noise. We dive into Coach Gloria's most recent pregnancy and recovery compared to her first, and how she did it completely different than before. We cut into the emotional and physical shifts of pregnancy, why early rehab matters, and how core and pelvic floor strength are non-negotiables—not just for recovery, but for life. From the pressure to “bounce back” to redefining fitness on your own terms, this is a must-listen for any mom who wants to heal smarter, not harder.
What happens when you’ve battled IBS for nearly three decades—and finally find relief? In this raw and powerful episode, I sit down with Stephanie Burke, a client at Fourth Trimester Training, to unpack her journey from chronic gut issues and pelvic floor dysfunction to true healing. Stephanie opens up about what the doctors missed, how stress wreaked havoc on her body, and the unexpected steps we took that changed her life. From rock-bottom moments to breakthrough wins, this conversation is a must-listen for anyone who’s felt dismissed, frustrated, or stuck in their health journey. You’ll walk away feeling inspired by what’s possible for you when you finally address root cause healing.
Back pain really gets in the way of your weight lifting and fitness goals. Meet Bronte! Former client, and now a coach with 4th Trimester Training! Bronte came for coaching because she was wanting to push herself in the gym but every time she did, she would get injured. She felt like she was living under a glass ceiling and could never see the gains and growth that she hoped for because of the pain she felt in the gym, and also daily life. When lifting kids or laundry baskets becomes challenging, how CAN you keep pushing in the gym? This was an issue for Bronte ever since pregnancy, which was about three years prior to her finding me. The problem is universal. Women aren’t given a playbook on how to fix their postpartum dysfunction so they can fully leave it behind. In this episode we talk about how we trained Bronte, what the missing pieces were, and how she rebuilt her strength from the inside out. She is lifting heavier than ever and seeing the results she wanted!
