With the majority of league seasons in Europe over, there is very little soccer/football going on. FIFA not giving much love to the viewers of the Women's World Cup in Europe. Die Mannschaft (the German National Team) is having a rough go in friendlies. This is the silly season for transfers, but Saudi Arabia seems to be having the best go at it. The first edition of the new FIFA Club World Cup will be hosted by the United States.
Thanks for listening!
The show is back. I am back in Germany. Back in this soccer / football (fussball) mad country. VfB Stuttgart has survived and will remain in the Bundesliga. Lionel Messi has moved from Ligue 1 and Paris Saint-Germain to Major League Soccer side Inter Miami. Saudi Arabia has continued to scoop up some of the best names in Europe.
