In this episode we talk to Monte Cruz of Here and There Moving. Monte grew up in gangs out in California, it was a way of life for him. When he moved to Wisconsin as a kid, nothing changed. He was still in and out of trouble and in a gang. When he turned 19 he was sentenced to prison for an armed robbery. While in prison he was able to learn about a new way to live, a way without gangs or trouble. Through all of this he wanted to give back and help other people learn how to live a better life. He has owned multiple businesses, had failures and successes.

He set out to help his community in any way that was needed. Through helping the community he saw that Main St. needed to have more life brought into it. He was able to help bring life and joy to the downtown by opening up a Stillhouse, the first one in Racine County since prohibition.
