New World's Nighthaven update is live giving us a new zone, skill tree revamp, Catacombs, and log in queues! Come check us out in the fresh start server Hudsonland and say hi in the New World channel under nomads. (note that Hudsonland is currently locked though so you'd have to wait until it is unlocked if you haven't logged in there in the last 180 days) WoW Noob Raid got its first full clear on Manaforge, and yes Dankinia was there for it. Remix is going great, it's a legion revisit, and all the things we hated about Legion are still there. The best thing is you can now fly from the get go, which makes ancient mana farming much easier. WoW Classic Classic is good, not many people are online at this time and there is always room for more. SWTOR We are looking forward to update 7.8, which is going to include a unique style of Dynamic Encounter called the Wreckage of Dantooine. A ship with powerful technology is going to crash land on Dantooine, spilling out its cargo of basically terraforming bacteria and substances along with the droids to make it all happen. This will create burgeoning biomes that will start to push out the native farming land of peaceful Dantooine. Players will have the opportunity to enter the biomes and push them back by doing various activities to make a central boss accessible. We are hoping this form of Dynamic Encounter is guild friendly, meaning that everyone in a raid group will get credit as we work toward the goals. Fingers crossed! 7.8 does not have a date yet, but it should be on the test servers soon. ESO The guild has been working on endeavors and in game events. FFXIV Kelseer is going back to any level map nights, and the Halloween seasonal event is going on right now until Nov 4 with a new mount. The next Live Letter is set for 10/31 at 7am EST/ 4am PST, where they’ll be discussing 7.4 (the beginning of the set up for 8.0!) STO This week, we're finishing up the Delta Quadrant story line by running Nikodas' favorite mission! LOTRO New Expansion is up for Pre-sale, with that, Bullroarer is in, its cycle of builds for update 46: Kingdoms of Harad. Harvestmath runs through November 2nd. The legendary reward track has been extended through December 2nd. This is to align it with the release of Kingdoms of Harad. If you need help with the reward track we are always up to running some group content to help get some of those levels done. If you missed out on getting your toons transferred off of the 32 bit worlds that just closed, you may now transfer from those dark worlds for free. The code for a bunch of quest packs is still available through November 3rd, use the code EXPLOREOURWORLD, sorry Mkallah, for shouting but it is case sensitive. Member removal of accounts that haven’t logged in for a year or more also was completed and we have plenty of room for growth, so we kept the two recruiting co-guilds, Libertas and Fortuna, open for another month. The consolidation on the alliance side and culling of accounts also left us with plenty of room for growth. It feels so much better to login and see so many others in guild playing. We encourage those who haven’t made the migration to please do so, and don’t be shy. If you need help, officers are here for you. We get it, it can be scary to hit the /gquit, but I think you will like rejoining an active co-guild. Alliance side MFN raid team HFO is 7/8 on normal and working on the dance with Demensius. Noob Raid ran Firelands for the Timewalking quest, with thanks to Ashayo for getting a skip on the (again) bugged Lord Rhyolith. Ragnaros was troublesome but we took him down eventually, then hopped over to the new Raid, Manaforge Omega to defeat first boss, Plexis Sentinel on Normal. Kiddie Aggro has feasted upon Nexus King Saladbar and are now 7/8 Heroic in Manaforge Omega. Next stop: Dimensius. Surely our bestie Xal-Atath will reward us well for his demise this time? Raid Team Dungeoneering INC has advanced to 4/8 Heroic with successful kills of Loomithar, Soulbinder and Forgeweaver. Raid team So Let's Go Skating got 3/8 heroic last week with a sub 1% best pull on Araz, they're going back in this evening for revenge! SWTOR AIE in swtor has a new Guild Master! Corley has passed the reigns on to Stask. Show them both some love! ‘Where's the Cantina’ Operations Team is hosting a 16 man run of Terror From Beyond on Monday, September 8. For fun times and a Galactic Seasons objective, check in discord for more info and to let Machete know you are interested. There are no gear requirements, but you must be 80 and subbed FFXIV New relic step is out Cosmic Exploration has been updated with a new map to visit, and new rewards to craft and gather for. Map night continues every Saturday at 9:30 pm eastern. Don’t be intimidated, you don’t need to bring anything to join in on the fun! ESO Keep your eyes open for the next ToT tournament which should start in October. STO Kdf Recruits starting on the 8th. Remember, they are a great way to bolster your endeavors. While the boost to the endeavors is only earned once, the extra perk points you unlock doing the endeavor portion is for each kdf recruit. You can get 5 extra perk points just by doing endeavors with each kdf recruit for the recruit tasks. Make 10 kdf recruits and 50 more perk points. LOTRO There has been some recent news in lotro. First Angmar and Mordor legendary servers has opened up Rise of Isengard expansion, so with that the new level cap is 75 on those servers. The 32-bit servers are now considered dark servers. As a thank you for players' patience with the lag boss they have released a code that you can redeem in the in-game store for a lot of quest packs, 1x per account. The code is EXPLOREOURWORLD. WoW Classic MOP is out, Sema and Looci are pet battling! A few others are in and playing again. Hard Core remains at about 3 to 4 people, and everyone is enjoying that as well. Anniversary Classic is quiet, but a few folks are in there as well! Looci is planning to walk in MoP on the 2nd for Remembrance Day. SWTOR We will be doing a special version of MFN at 9PM Eastern on Tuesday night, as well as a Star Wars Trivia game on Friday night. We will do our traditional walk in the Juran Mountains on Alderaan for Remembrance. ESO Save Up to 75% on ESO Standard Edition during the PlayStation Summer Sale. Update 47, titled "Feast of Shadows," will be released on August 18th for PC/Mac and September 3rd for PlayStation and Xbox consoles. This update introduces a new dungeon pack and other content as part of the "Seasons of the Worm Cult" storyline. FFXIV Next major patch is on 8/5, with a new alliance raid, new relic upgrades, and the final MSQ chapter for the Dawntrail expansion (the next two will be set up for 8.0). Moogle tomestones is currently active until the patch, and Gold Saucer GATEs give around 4 each, every 20 minutes, which is a very chill way to get them. STO Story update July 29th. Also, from July 29th at 8am PT to August 19th at 12pm PT on PC, you can create a new Temporal Agent character. Lohlunat Festival ends July 30th, AKA the Risa beach party. GW2 “Train new elite specializations and adventure on the magical island of Castora when the expansion launches on October 28!” 9 new elite specs. Devs will be detailing them over time. Mesmer, Ranger, and Guardian, which bring the troubadour, galeshot, and luminary. LOTRO For the Remembrance Day ceremony LOTRO will be meeting in our normal spot on the hill above the Prancing Pony. For starters, August 31st free transfer from 32 bit worlds, after that they will become dark worlds. With this change coming, the kinship on the legendary server Treebeard has been disbanded. Also, the old forums are going away, and have been in a read-only state for a few years. New stuff to the game right now, the midsummer festival is going on right now with new quests in Futherholm. Futherholm is a new island off the coast of Umbar. Minas Tirith midsummer is still around. The midsummer festival runs through July 7th. Be on the lookout for some group stuff for the kinship to run in the near future. Act 2 launches this Tuesday with a new mode called Court of Blades. It takes inspiration from Destiny 1 Court of Oryx. It has an augment system similar to what WoW had in Torghast. 5 new weapons are tied to this activity. Guardian games also launches with Act 2. Guardian games has a boss rush mode as an activity. Bungie had a developer stream last week going over Act 2, and gave information on new things coming in Act 3 which launches only 3 weeks after Act 2. Act 3 has a mode coming that is basically what LFR is in Wow but for Destiny 2 dungeons called explorer mode. It seems pretty cool, basically a matchmade activity with a lot of markers and tips in game on how to complete the dungeon. No organized guild activities, there are a handful of us still playing and getting together to run Nightfalls and dungeons. WoW In WoW news, the Liberation of Undermine Raid arrived, with lots of crazy mechanics and a big Vegas vibe. First boss Vexie and the Geargrinders make quite an entrance! You have been warned. Raid Team Kiddie Aggro cleared Normal (Good night, Gallywix) as well as Vexie on Heroic. Alliance Raid team Hell Froze Over downed five bosses on Normal - up to Sprocket-monger Lockenstock. Their progression Team, So Let's Go Skating - picks up right about now with The One-Armed Bandit. Noob Raid defeated two bosses - Vexie and the Cauldron of Carnage (aka Mecha Kong vs Fire Breathing T-Rex) and the weekly World Boss. Great job, Noob Raiders! There is one wing (three bosses) available in LFR for those with gear level 606. On Tuesday, the raid will be available on Story Mode for solo players. You don't get loot but can complete a quest for a nice crafting upgrade item. Delves in Season 2 award a new customizable mount: Delver's Gob-Trotter, and Bran can now tank, but needs our help after an encounter with a new villain known as The Underpin, who stole Bran's hat and all our curios! Among the new curios are the Mechasaur EZ-Build Kit and Kaja'Cola Carrier. There are two new delves: Sidestreet Sluice (aka what floor am on again?) and Excavation Site 9. Previous delves have some minor story updates, with goblin shenanigans. And Dungeoneering Inc is 6/8 on normal. We raid on Sat nights. WoW Classic We have been seeing some more AIE traffic in the classic Discord channels which is encouraging. Nothing big in the news to speak of regarding the WoW Classic alternative universe. SWTOR See Game Notes ESO We are almost done with week 2 of the ToT tournament . We have 1 match remaining between Ranatha and Bashirra. So this how the members stack up heading into the third week name wins loses Dankinia 4 0 Ranatha 3 0 Newtype 2 2 Kraemer 1 3 David 1 3 Bashirra 0 3 Now for week 3’s exciting matches Newtype vs Ranatha Dankinia vs David Bashirra vs Kraemer Good luck to all the players FFXIV Live Letter on March 14th, 3 am PDT Patch is expected to be Mar 25 but that will be confirmed at this Live Letter. STO Star Trek Online's 15th Anniversary event is going on now with Garrett Command Alliance Dreadnought Cruiser as the reward. This event ends soon and you no longer have enough time to earn the cruiser for free, but you could buy out the event to get the ship. Many are hailing this as one of the better ships available in the game and it is our recommendation that you don't miss this chance. The Fed fleet is still just stacking provisions to allow folks to earn their fleet credits for use in the fleet stores. The KDF fleet has been progressing along nicely. We just completed Tier I of the Colony, which allows for the coffers to autofill a little each day, which will speed up future progress at the Colony. The Spire is closing in on Tier III, which will unlock the elite tactical consoles. And the Research Lab is pushing the projects to complete Tier II, opening up some nice science consoles for doing space magic. Fleet Action Report has just passed 240 episodes and started a new series on helping players new and returning from a long hiatus in relearning the game. We are not sure how many episodes this will take, but the goal is to try and cover the things people struggle with the most. GW2 The next update for Guild Wars 2®: Janthir Wilds™ is ”Repentance,” launching on March 11. Upcoming is the (currently unscheduled) Super Adventure Festival, which typically runs 3 weeks from Late March to mid April. A celebration of old school platforming with bright colors and pixilated graphics. LOTRO The 64 bit servers have finally opened and after an issue with character transfers we are getting the kin finally moved to the new 64 bit RP server “Peregrin”. Once they open up the housing and we get our kin house, we will have a kin house party to celebrate during SNL after the house is purchased. The spring festival also returns at 10am on March 13 and runs through April 1. And with that, let’s get back to Corley and find out what’s going on in SWTOR. Per usual, many class and system changes will come with the patch, and the season brings a new raid and mythic+ dungeon pool WoW Classic Quiet in Cataclysm Classic. The word is the pre-patch for Mists of Pandaria classic will drop before July 31 and full release before August 31. Still some action in the 20th anniversary classic. @redrum is nudging me to run dungeons with a group (Horde side). AIE guild exists on DreamScythe Horde side. I am also working on Hardcore solo self-found on the 20th anniversary Doomhowl server and publishing my progress via my YT channel. The raid team stopped playing cata classic last summer, it looks like there's still a handful of players logging in though The final cata raid Dragon Soul was released yesterday, and heroic was cleared in an hour by the world first team Season of Discovery is in Phase 7. We had folks in there in early phases but no recent participation. Brand new content like Karazhan Crypts (5-person) and upcoming Scarlet Enclave Raid. Apparently catch-up mechanics are good so perhaps some of us may jump back in to check it out. SWTOR Live stream next week, new content coming, cleared new Lair boss, won another planet. ESO Kraemer will be hosting the next ToT tournament which will run from 02/24 - 03/31. The prizes include houses from the crown store and piles of gold. The patch itself which contains a new 8-man raid tier, a new “Exploration Zone” for crafters and gatherers to build outposts (in space!), and the start of the endgame Dawntrail relic weapons, will be releasing at the end of March, with a final date TBA in the next live letter. At said live letter we will also be receiving new information on Dawntrail’s take at Bozja/Eureka- the Occult Crescent. WoW In WoW news, the Battle Royale game Plunderstorm is back, with new pets, a new mount - the Plunderlord's Midnight Crocolisk, and transmog including the Swabbie's Shovel and Oar. There's also a back appearance - Coward's Azure Target - available until Feb 4 for watching a WoW Twitch stream. The Turbulent Timeways timewalking event is ongoing and great for alts. This week the quest is for 5 Warlords of Draenor dungeons and next week we'll head to Legion. Coming soon (TM) Will be the Undermine(d) patch, where we visit the massive underground Goblin capital to learn Gallywix is helping Xal'atath with an important project (and it's not a mani-pedi). Among the features are a customizable, super fast car mount (flying is not available), a quest that awards a rental apartment - which looks like it has bank access, a new dungeon: Operation Floodgate, two new delves with an associated customizable mount: the Gobtrotter. Bran can also now tank, so we can tell him "Don't stand there!" for a change. And in the new Raid - Liberation of Undermine, we help the various goblin cartels unseat Chrome King Gallywix. Grats to Rogues on their very cool pirate themed Tier set. WoW Classic Classic Refresh has some AIE and Lars is in there, Classic Cata has tapered off SWTOR MFN goes well with a few other event nights a week. Running on two servers, pvp nights, etc. All sorcerer Ops night events are coming up too. New and returning players still. Wed ops team needs fill-ins ESO ESO MFN is back from winter break. We’ve been working on trials and helping each other with endeavors while hanging out and chatting. FFXIV We’re in a bit of between patches lull in content, the new custom delivery NPC and Chaotic Alliance Raid were released Christmas Eve, and we’re looking at the next Live Letter sometime in late Feb/ early March, so our next major patch is looking to be late march/early April. That patch will include the next tier in the Arcadian 8 man raid series, and the live letter should have more details about the upcoming Disciple of the Hand/Land exploration zone and the battle exploration zone. We are still attempting to do treasure maps on Saturday nights in the meantime. STO Fleet Action Report is a video podcast run by AIE personnel on Thursdays at 10pm Eastern. Our show is dedicated to teaching others how to play STO. We feature build videos for both ground and space, show off new ships, and explain other aspects of sto. Consoles are currently experiencing their The Feast event, and it lasts until February 5th. GW2 The next festival event in the GW2 calendar is the Canthan (Lunar) New Year. The dates have not yet been announced, however it should be soon as the actual Lunar New Year starts on Jan 29th this year. LOTRO 64 bit servers, end of this month or so, guild/kinship will move to Peregrin, VIP will have first shot at new names, there might be some things that individuals need to do (like logging in). Dux will be handling moving the guild and house. And with that, let’s get back to us and find out what’s going on in community activities. Dynamic encounters are providing a quick-hit way to work toward achievements and Conquest targets. 2025 has started! ESO ESO MFN is back from winter break. The event typically is at the end of this month or very beginning of February. They just released a new Sol System map with the updated ESD exterior as it was shown in Season 3 of Picard. Unfortunately with the patch that brought in the new art, there have been several bugs. From loadouts dropping, traits unloading, and even for some people equipment being unequipped. They are aware of the issues and hopefully have this all resolved soon(tm). FFXIV We’re in a bit of an inbetween patch lull in content, the new custom delivery NPC and Chaotic Alliance Raid were released Christmas Eve, and we’re looking at the next Live Letter sometime in late Feb/ early March, so our next major patch is looking to be late march/early April. That patch will include the next tier in the Arcadian 8 man raid series, and the live letter should have more details about the upcoming Disciple of the Hand/Land exploration zone and the battle exploration zone. We are still attempting to do treasure maps on Saturday nights in the meantime. Orion did release a letter in December to show us what they have planned for each quarter in 2025. The first look at update 43 is hitting Bullroarer (pts) hopefully this week. The current legendary rewards track has 1 month remaining. New 64 bit servers are arriving soon. These will be open to all players. These servers will see the culmination of the 2 years of work the devs have put into fighting the lag boss. Standing Stone Games hopes to have these new servers open sometime in February, but no later than March. While we wait for all this, we will still be running some delvings and other instances at lvl cap and running stuff at the other lvl ranges. WoW Noob Raid is 7/8 in normal Nerubn-ar Palace. Not bad at all for a bunch of Noobs lead by a professional floor tank. WoW Classic Fresh start servers are coming up in Classic SWTOR The guild is still doing MFN on Tuesday nights at 9pm EST. We are helping everyone get their Galactic Season objectives done. Still have a couple months to finish everything up. The Public Test Server (PTS) is up with content from the next patch 7.6 on it. One of the things being tested are dynamic events, which are like world quests in other games. A new single boss operation is being tested also. Lords of Light has taken it down, but there are some different mechanics that are not working correctly right now. Should be fun when it's in the live game. There are rewards for doing 100 dynamic events and a title for defeating the operation boss. Keep an eye out for groups getting together on the PTS if you want to finish those rewards up. We have four operations (raid) teams that are running different things. Check in the SWTOR channel in discord for when spots are open and subs are needed. There are a couple teams that have some regular spots open. Join up if you want to see some different content in Star Wars: The Old Republic. FFXIV New patch is out, more MSQ, more Alliance Raid, and you can combine level 1 outfits in the glamour dresser so they only take up one slot instead of many. Also, update your adventure plates! ESO We've been attempting some new-to-us trials, with varying degrees of success. Kraemer has all of the mundus stones and crafting stations currently available at his primary residence. Feel free to stop by to use them if you need to. GW2 Extra Life event running until the 19th. Take your toon into Lion's Arch. where it will give you a bunch of Karma kegs. Buy Extra Life sponsoring goodies from the gem store, get more prizes, and the money goes to the Extra Life charity via the GW2/Arenanet team. The Extra Life karma boosters are good for getting maximum value from the Orphan Run daily during the upcoming WIntersday. Do both go to LA and buy, and it will give you a couple of Victory Caches. Wintersday event is starting on Dec 10th, running for 3 weeks (as usual). This is the event for stacking up karma, so make sure you have karma boosting food/utilities/etc. stacked up. WoW Noob Raid resumed last week and since cross-faction LFR isn't a thing, decided to make an attempt at Normal difficulty. They managed the first boss, but still needed a lot of practice for the second one. Next week is time walking so they will be making another attempt at getting rare mounts with a full clear of Ulduar. WoW Classic With the launch of Season of Discovery Phase 5 on Thursday, September 26 at 22:00 CEST, Blackwing Lair will become available. Blackwing Lair is tuned and intended for ~20 players but the instance is capped at a maximum of 40 players. Blackwing Lair is on a 7-day raid reset timer. Zul'Gurub is tuned and intended for ~10 players, but the instance is capped at a maximum of 20 players. Zul'Gurub is on a twice-weekly raid reset timer. New Raid: The Crystal Vale Prince Thunderaan the Windseeker has broken free from his prison with the release of Phase 5 and will be available to all players as a newly reimagined raid encounter. Thunderaan is tuned and intended for ~20 players but the instance is capped at a maximum of 40 players. The Crystal Vale is on a twice-weekly reset timer. Old Raid: The Molten Core Available with weekly resets starting on September 24th, The Molten Core will become available to raid with an instance capped at a maximum of 40 players. It will remain tuned for 20 players. SWTOR We continue to work through Galactic Season 7, which has been extended 6 weeks. If you need help with the larger group objectives, join us on Tuesdays and/or Fridays. We're looking forward to another Broadsword livestream this fall as they let us know what's coming up. ESO We've been working on dailies as a group to earn event tickets for the current in-game event and watching as Dankinia jumps/falls off cliffs on the way to our objectives. From October 10th at 8am PT to October 17th at 12pm PT on Xbox and PlayStation, all of our Red Alert events will be returning at once, as the Final Frontier is caught in a massive invasion on all sides. During this event, you’ll be able to play the following content: Borg Red Alert Elachi Red Alert Tholian Red Alert Tzenkethi Red Alert* Nakuhl Red Alert *Please note: As the only Red Alert with a fail condition, the Tzenkethi Red Alert will not grant daily bonus progress if you fail the TFO. The fail condition will likely be removed in future runs of this event. WoW In Wow Retail, players were able to unlock Earthen as an Allied Race following a campaign update this week. The cinematics are glorious! In a coming patch, Drak'thyr will be playable as six additional classes: Hunter, Warlock, Mage, Warrior, Rogue and Priest, with shadow priests getting some cool visuals for their wings. The first Raid of War Within - Nerub-ar Palace - opens September 10 and Queen Ansurak has much to answer for. Blizzard also announced plans for WoW's 20th Anniversary, an event so massive that it's going to run through November and December. Features include a revamped Blackrock Depths raid/dungeon, Timewalking for Deadmines, Dire Maul (both sides), and Stratholme (also both sides). There will also be timey-wimey stuff with Chromie at the Caverns of Time, PvP fun in Alterac Valley, and special Warcraft 3 flavored items at the Trading Post. Among notable loot, there will be a new mount: Coldflame Tempest - a blue version of Ashes of Al'ar, baby Doom Lord battle pets, and an updated Appearance for the Iconic Tier 2 armor sets. Paladins are rejoicing (YEAH!) and Gustyail can't wait for a new set of goofy moose antlers. Death Knights, Demon Hunters, Monks and Evokers will get brand new sets, since they were not around way back then. Raids and mythic 0s are opening with this coming reset. Mythic plus the following reset. There will be timewalking Zul'farrak as well. WoW Classic From Bhock: Got my first Sinestra kill, so only 2 hard modes (Nefarian and Council) remain and I doubt we'll ever do Council HM. Still making good gold running a gDKP on Saturdays, so good time in game overall, even if I'm not sure of attendance with Firelands and the rest of the expansion, as most players will skip the rest until Mists of Pandaria, And me, I will be a lot on Ashes of Creation, starting 10/25 Alpha 2 SWTOR See Game News ESO We've been working on trials, killing world bosses, and helping each other collect gear. FFXIV The next Letter from the Producer LIVE Part LXXXIII (83) Set for September 28! This is the first live letter that will debut some of what will come with Patch 7.1. A new set of updates to the Graphical Update have also been announced, but most of the changes are incredibly subtle and difficult to read over a podcast, so check out the lodestone if you're interested! GAME NEWS Guild news: Tuesdays - MFN 9pm EDT Wednesday Ops Team has a spot open for permanent member 9pm EDT Wednesdays Stask and Machete run PvP. Alternated between low level and max level. 8:30pm EDT Fridays alternate between GSF, Master Mode FPs, and stuff on SV. 8:30pm EDT Game Stuff: There have been a few updates in the last few months. 7.5 and 7.5.1 have been released. 7.5 had the next part of the story and ended on a bit of a cliff hanger. Interested to see where it goes from here. Might be some good surprises coming for us. 7.5.1 launched the next Galactic Season The Greatest Bounty. Bounty Contract week is active while the Season is going on. No new companion again which is good. Also no rep except the one that is for the Bounty Brokers Association. DvL bosses have returned to the game. Only the ones that are needed for the weekly objectives. Can be tough, but with enough people it can be a bit easier. This is something that we have been focusing on for MFN. Only the first 16 in a group get drops from the boss for some reason. Tokens are currently per character, but will be legacy wide once the patch goes in on 10 Sept. Vendors for those tokens have some new items that are legacy bound, but old stuff has restrictions. Shared tagging works, but is restricted to the same faction. A new set of Date Night with Vette and Aric Jorgan. Timothy Omundson returns to voice Aric Jorgan. It will resume mid to late September. It's pretty quiet in WoW right now. Just kidding! New expansion The War Within officially launches tomorrow (Aug 26) but players who bought the Epic Edition have had access since Thursday and many are already level 80. It's doable in about 3 hours if you can ignore side quests (i.e. not Gustyail) and we ask that everyone resist the urge to discuss major plot twists - and there are some doozies - in Guild chat. In War Within, we meet the Earthen, Dwarves who will be an Allied Race, and the Arathi, a group of mainly Humans and Elves who were accidentally stranded in Hallowfall on what was supposed to be a 3-hour tour. (Wait? Did I get that right?) There are 36 new mounts to obtain, including a lynx, fire bees, a giant mole and several mech suits. Some require rep, and the Darkmoon Faire starting next Sunday will help with that and has profession quests as well. To help carry all the new quest items and loot, there are two free 34-slot bags available. Break the Kaja Cola Machine at the Inn in the Ringing Deeps (59.0, 64.3) to get a Goblin Mini Fridge. (WoWhead has details.) The Windswept Satchel can be found in Hallowfall at 30.2, 38.8 on a ledge at the Priory of the Sacred Flame. SWTOR As Max’s retirement, in real life, has gotten busy, Corley has been promoted to GM/Game Director for AIE in SWTOR. Congradudolences! The SUP ops team has an opening for a full time spot. We run from 8-10 pm (Max time) on Wednesday nights. We mainly run story mode ops on the imp side. We are very new to ops friendly. If you are interested, let Maellung know, please. A couple things to add: Swtor is having its first ever twitch drop event. For four hours of watching swtor streamers, you get a Orlean Voidstream Mount. A number of guildies have already gotten it, so if you need any help making it happen, just post in discord. Also, Galactic Seasons 7 has begun and brings with it a nice rotation of returning World Bosses that we have not had the opportunity to kill in a long time. From August 15th at 8am PT to August 22nd at 12pm PT on all platforms, all of our Red Alert events will be returning at once, as the Final Frontier is caught in a massive invasion on all sides. During this event, you’ll be able to play the following content: Borg Red Alert Elachi Red Alert Tholian Red Alert Tzenkethi Red Alert* Nakuhl Red Alert *Please note: As the only Red Alert with a fail condition, the Tzenkethi Red Alert will not grant daily bonus progress if you fail the TFO. The War Within™ Pre-Expansion Content Update Goes Live July 23 - WoW WoW Classic Life is very quiet on the Cataclysm classic front. Many of us have been playing in Pandaria Remix, and the Stale Puft Raid team will be a retail raid team in the War Within. TWW (Tdub) looks to be amazing! So we will remain in the Classic worlds but with a very reduced presence. The lights will remain on, but there probably won't be very many people on line. If anyone needs to reach us for anything, please reach out in the ?wow-classic channel and ping an @officer . We remain happy to help out as we can, but the cadence will be very slow paced. Stask was the flyer and Looci and Sema were cheering him on. ESO The last few weeks have been spent working on the new scribing quest line and clearing the overland portion of the new zone. FFXIV Tuesday is the first patch of Dawntrail, with the first four of the new 8man raid series dropping, as well as the new limited tome gear. More on that in our chat! STO Fleet Action Report just celebrated its 4 year anniversary. Thank you all for the support. The summer event has started and the free ship this year is the Vovin Obelisk Carrier. It currently is said to have one of the best consoles in the game. There are all kinds of new items in the summer event store from a new kit frame to a rainbow mellanoid slime non combat pet, or a rainbow version of Murph from Prodigy. LOTRO Lots of things on the horizon for Lotro. We are about a week and a half away from Update 41. Later in August will be a new instance as part of the celebration of the Year of the Dragon. Also the rumored lotro official discord is in the works and they will try to have it out hopefully September ish. Lastly, the 2 new legendary servers are still expected to go live this month. It is the conclusion of what Bungie is calling the light and dark saga where we fight the big bad from the last 10 years. They did some new really neat stuff like a 12 player activity that unlocked when the new raid had been completed by a team. Overall it has been getting very positive reviews. WoW oob Raid cleared up to final boss Sarkareth in Aberrus on Saturday night and in coming weeks will be working on getting people the Awakened Raid achievement. Defeating all bosses in Vault of the Incarnates, Aberrus and Amirdrassil on Normal difficulty awards the Voyaging Wilderling Mount. Planning has begun for AIE's Summer of Love event, which will run July 27 (26?) through August 2nd (Remembrance Day). In WoW, we'll have a Lore Night and a WoW Trivia night, as well as pet and toy giveaways. The next expansion, The War Within has a launch date of Aug 26 - with early access Aug 22 for people who pre-purchased the Epic Edition. Beta access has opened and there are spoilers out there. Please respect others by not discussing big revelations in Guild chat or Discord (unless it's hidden). Meanwhile players are busy finishing up achievements and leveling alts - many of them in Pandaria Remix. It's a wicked good time! We'll also have a new playable dwarf race, The Earthen, in War Within. It seems only fair that they should be unlocked on Day One for Earthen Ring server, right? Here is a picture of Gusty on the Voyaging Wilderling Mount WoW Classic Our Stale-Puft Marshmallow raid team has had one raid night so far, in which we came 10% away from full clearing normal Blackwing Descent 10m, off to a strong start! The only Cata news of note is Blizzard recently changed valor to be a rolling seasonal cap, like how conquest points already worked, so we're all very excited about that, especially for upcoming alts Season of Discovery has lots of news about upcoming season 4, reaching the level cap of 60 at last Sounds like some really cool stuff, like new tier sets for every spec, 3 difficulty levels for Molten Core, and of course many new rune abilities FFXIV Less than 2 weeks, June 28th, until early access for the new expac drops! Last live letter aired last night, the VOD is on their page I believe. Lots of fun new zones and new gear sets revealed. SWTOR In Swtor, we are still feeling our way through 7.5. There is a lot to do and the only deadline is that the Spring Festival will be ending June 25. There is still time to catch up on that. In the meantime, there is no limit to when you can do the main story or the new Venture system. The Venture will eventually earn you a gun-faced dog companion. He's adorable. We do our MFN on Tuesday night, have a fun PvP night on most Wednesdays, and do a variety of things on Friday nights. ESO See Game Notes LOTRO We got our first look at update 41 on Bullroarer this past week, in which monster play is getting some love. We are expecting Bullroarer to open up for this week so we can take a look at the new hobby (hopefully). Lotro summer sales continues with some great stuff on sale every week for the next couple weeks. This week is a sale on carry-alls. We are excited to get some exciting teasers from Executive Producer Severlin from a couple of shows he has been on. Some exciting things that have already been teased and waiting for more information on them. And with that, let’s get back to Dankinia and find out what’s going on in ESO. GAME NEWS The new expansion, Gold Road, came out on June 3 for PC and brought with it a new zone and storyline as well as a new system called Scribing that lets you customize your skills and abilities. There is a questline to unlock it and then daily quests that can be done to acquire materials. For the last few MFN’s we’ve all grouped up to run a short trial or do dailies and then hung out in voice chatting with each other as we worked through the Scribing quests. I foresee more time spent doing dailies in our future to collect all the components needed. The Zeal of Zenithar event starts on June 20th and runs through July 1st. There will be a daily quest each day that gives you a Sublime Parcel box as a reward and a variety of other activities that reward a Delightful Parcel Box. The boxes contain style pages, crafting materials, and recipes, among other items. Planning for AIE’s annual Summer of Love event is currently underway. Kraemer is planning a short one-shot D&D game as part of the event. Also Tales of Tribute 6 starts on July 1st and runs to August 4th. There are plenty of spots still open so let Kraemer know in Discord if you’d like to join in the fun. It's a great way to level alts for The War Within (with Beta starting June 5) and there's a ton of transmog, mounts, toys and pets to collect. Chen Stormstout's Hat and Keg? Theramore tabard? Yes Please! Saturday's Noob Mythics became a Remix run instead, and Raid Team Kiddie Aggro did Siege of Orgrimmar last week. Alliance Team Hell Froze Over may Remix Raid this week. Noob Raid cleared all but final boss Fyrakk in Awakened Amirdrassil on Saturday. Thanks as always to Dankinia our fearless floor tank! Also, Darkmoon Faire is up and the June Trading post arrived with a heartbreakingly cute assortment of summer gear including the Pearlescent Goblin Wave Shredder (a flying surfboard), Water Blaster BL (gun) a murloc floaty belt, lots of swimwear and a rainbow beach chair. More tendies needed! WoW Classic Sema has an update!!! Cataclysm launched, with little issue, it's been a pretty calm release. The guild has been busy doing content, and dungeons, and leveling professions. It's fun to see these zones again, and the dungeons as well. Several of us on the raid team have never raided these raids when it was current, so we are looking forward to it! We have also been working on guild achievements, to get some of the better perks. Come on over to classic and have some Cata fun! SWTOR See Game Notes ESO We've been having a great time attempting to clear more difficult trials. We are not always successful, but even when the entire group joins Kini for floor tank practice we all have fun. Kraemer has all of the mundus stones and crafting stations currently available at his primary residence. Feel free to stop by to use them if you need to. The next chapter expansion, called Gold Road, comes out on June 5th for PC. We are looking forward to exploring the new area as well as the changes to some of the base game systems when it comes out. Tales of Tribute Tournament 6 will be starting on July 1st and run for 5 weeks though Summer of Love. You can sign in the Tot channel of the AIE discord or reach out to Kraemer. FFXIV The complete edition/complete collector’s edition and the Endwalker/Endwalker Collector’s edition are 60% off on most platforms right now, if anyone was looking to start the game when Dawntrail comes out and wants to catch up now! Also story skips (skipping over previous expansions) and level skips (skipping a class from base level to level 80, with a full set of lvl 80 gear) are half off at the moment, if people want to play a specific class through the expac! Newly updated Benchmark for Dawntrail to be released June 3rd with updated environmental lighting and shading to better reflect the major graphics update. Our weekly FC gathering has been postponed until a couple weeks after Dawntrail’s release to allow people to play MSQ at their own rate. Multiple events going on in game at once at the moment, as most players are in a holding pattern until Dawntrail releases at the end of the month. STO Federation fleet is still racking up provisions so people can continue getting fleet credits to purchase the special equipment the fleet holdings offer. KDF fleet is moving along nicely with their holdings. Starbase is now Tier III closing in on Tier IV. The spire is working on unlocking Tier II. The Fleet Research Lab is almost completed Tier II as well. And the Fleet colony is closing in on unlocking Tier I for each of the branches, which will unlock a daily trickle of colony provisions for the projects. STO has released new content this past Tuesday and we are back to fighting even more borg. And along with the new content release there is an event showcasing all the new content dealing with borg. The rewards are some that if you can, you should not miss. You will get a dimensional hypermass torpedo launcher, type 14 shuttle support squadron, 500 lobi, and 1 Epic Phoenix Prize token PER CAPTAIN on your account. So if you have 30 captains, that could be 30 ships. (Note: Phoenix prize pack ships are not account wide ships.) You can also save your epic token for when they do any phoenix prize pack event and bring back ship upgrade tokens as a choice to buy. LOTRO This week we got some news on what is coming for Update 41. Some of the highlights are double sided pvmp reward tracks with rotating quests that both sides will pvp each other over. Players in PVMP can by choice have a bounty on them. New non-competitive crafting event. The lore-master, burglar and the hunter will be the main focus for class work in this update. We also got the news on the 2nd hobby that was teased in the Producer’s Letter. The new hobby will be bird watching. There are about 600 birds to be spotted at the moment, with possible migration depending on the season. Bird watching hobby is expected to be on Bullroarer within the next 2 weeks. It's a fun, Vampire themed crafting survival action combat game. Diablo Season 4: Loot Reborn is now live and is seemingly doing very well and players are really liking the updates. We have Diablo regulars in there checking it out and I'm sure they can offer help and guidance to anyone looking to jump back in. Other Nomads stuff is happening this week in Fallout 76, ARK, and Starfield as well. WoW Noob Raid successfully cleared Timewalking Ulduar, and congrats to two players for obtaining the rare mounts Invincible and Mimiron's Head. Aside from Noob Raid, the excitement is all about Remix: Mists of Pandaria, a limited time, speed leveling event that launched Thursday for Retail WoW. Quite a few players have reached level 70 already and are working on more toons while gathering numerous transmog items, mounts and pets. Many alts! Handle it! The characters can join current guilds but won't be on live servers until the new expansion, The War Within. AIE opened our second Alliance guild, Amicitia, to make room for the new alts. A few people had trouble pronouncing the guild name, so it's now known as Amy. Welcome Amy! WoW Classic See Game Notes SWTOR This past week was Rakghoul week and if that means nothing to you, just picture swtor's version of zombies. There is no cure, we just have to kill them. A lot. Including a giant one with no eyes that we managed to dispatch on Tuesday during MFN. The double xp event is over, but it's still a good time to level as it's basically pretty quick in this game. For tips, join us in discord. There is a lot of chatter about the best/most-fun way to do things. Friday fun happened on Shae Vizla server this week where we knocked out some Uprisings and Heroic weeklies. Next week, back to Star Forge. The PvP season is wrapping up, or has wrapped up (time is so unreliable), but the main point is Wednesday Night PvP goes on hiatus between seasons. Check this spot for when the season starts up again. FFXIV Map Night has Gigantamaxed into Mandatory Fun Night for the remainder of Endwalker up until the release of Dawntrail, at which point it'll need to take a lil' nap after the dynamax infusion wears off while we enjoy the new expansion pack. FFXIV also recently had it's latest Letter from the Producer Live that included a new Job Actions trailer that showcases some of the job changes coming in Dawntrail and their new animations, as well as many more details on the new jobs Viper, a dual wielding bad boy who flips and slashes around his foes while also throwing his swords like sword chucks and occasionally Darth Mauling it up by combing his swords, and Pictomancer, a painter who brought a paint brush to a sword fight and still ends up winning. Dawntrail will be released on July 2nd, with early access starting June 28th. If you've ever wanted to dip your toes into FFXIV, now is the time. The base game and the EW expansion and both collectors editions are on sale for 60% off until June 11th, except for Steam. Also, take your birds out for walkies! ESO We've been running trials and dungeons for loot and laughs while waiting for the next event and the expansion. "The Midnight King", the last stage of the current expansion, is going live on May 21st. He went to great lengths to get the materials necessary to progress the guildhall's tavern to the next level. Thank you Hortensus! LOTRO Update 40 has gone live! Now we venture into Umbar-môkh, the neaths, a large complex beneath the city of Umbar. The quest pack "Beneath the Surface" is free to VIPs and available in the LOTRO store for points. New quests will be released weekly to continue the story. GAME NEWS Less than 24 hours to the launch of Cataclysm Classic! We are all very excited to roll on into Cata, to revisit its dungeons and Raids. The AIE classic group has been preparing for this since we killed Arthas in January. The Blizzard team has released a very accelerated pace for this expansion, with only 15 months to complete all the content. They have also stated that they will be monitoring the progress and can slow the release if they feel that teams are still progressing through the current raid. We hope this isn't too fast a pace for us, as we are pretty casual, with only 1 night a week to raid. The Devs are hoping for less gaps and lulls in content during this expansion. The Stale Pufft Marshmallow team have had a few roster changes, and we have added a few new people for this raid tier, so we continue with about 14 people for 10 man raids. A continuous struggle for the raid leaders to keep the roster flowing, and to make sure everyone gets time in the raids. Some of the highlights that we have are: Transmog, reforging, guild perks! SWTOR This week we had a livestream about Game Update 7.5, "Desperate Defiance", which is due this spring, possibly even this month. We will be getting a new pvp season, a new game system called Ventures, and a new Spring Event. The game continues to get art updates--this time for the planet Hutta. The Public Test Server is up now and players are able to test the new Ventures. The Dantooine Spring Abundance Festival looks like a cozy extravaganza with farming, pie baking, and animal rescues. Maybe the galaxy needs a break from pirate invasions, intrigue and eternal war. Right now, though, it's a good time to level characters because of double xp. Come join us for MFN on Tuesday this week and get some Conquest points, Galactic Seasons objectives, and that sweet, sweet double xp. Also 2 older exotic weapon quests have been revised and re-released. Whisper of the worm sniper rifle and Outbreak Perfected Pulse. Fun night has moved to Sunday officially. WoW Guild Event on Monday where Raid Team Kiddie Aggro helped about a dozen guildies kill Heroic Fyrakk, final boss of Amirdrassil for the Ahead of the Curve Achievement. Players also got a short quest to unlock a Fyrakk appearance for their Dragonriding mount. With the new patch on Tuesday, the three Dragonflight raids will take turns becoming Awakened, rotating weekly. Awakened raids will be harder, drop improved gear and a token, Antique Bullion, that can be used to buy weapons and other items as well as a Jigglesworth Sr mount. Completing all three raids awards the Voyaging Wilderling Mount and Awakened Hero achievement. The eight Dragonflight dungeons have been revamped to Mythic level. In a helpful change for many players, the timer is being removed for level 0 to 10 mythics. Players will be able to design their own personal tabards, thanks to a new quest that starts in Valdrakken. For housekeeping, use up those catalyst charges on gear before they reset on Tuesday and spend any flightstones. One good option is to buy rep tokens from the various factions, which are account bound. Unspent flightstones will turn into gold. If you are interested in the War Within Beta sign-ups, it’s here - https://thewarwithin.blizzard.com/en-us/ WoW Classic Cataclysm pre-patch drops on 30 April, with Cataclysm starting on 20 May. We are all hoping that the PTR is not indicative of the state of the game, as it hasn't been very stable. They have also released a roadmap for Raids during Cata, and the pace seems to be very accelerated. If they stick to this roadmap, the final raid will be out in January of 2025. It appears that they will be rolling things out every 3 months, which for those of us who haven't played previously, seems kind of fast. The scenarios of Zelazane's Fall and Operation Gnomeregan are out, and they give 2 toys, a Darkspear troll costume, and a Gnomeregan Gnome costume. You only need to do 1 of the scenarios, and you get both toys. Season of Discovery is in Phase 3, and the level cap is now 50. I know several guildies are enjoying it. Beyond that, I haven't been in it recently. And Hardcore Classic now has self found mode, it is unknown how many people are taking advantage of this. When you create a character in Self found mode, you have no access to the AH, Mail, or trading at all. SWTOR We won another planet during this past week of Total Galactic War. In fact we won two planets, since our fledgling guild on Shae Vizla (or is it a guild of fledglings?) also won a planet once our victory on Star Forge was assured. This week's MFN was a celebration of the TGW win, a distribution of prizes for everyone, and an early-to-bed night. TGW is good fun, but it does take some recovery time. Don't forget Warzone Wednesday. You never know which faction or which level range will be playing, so stay tuned to discord. Friday Fun this past week was a rousing game of Git Some Fun (GSF). FFXIV Dawtrail Performance Benchmark dropped yesterday and will be updated to correct lag/graphical glitches that are already fixed in the upcoming game but had not been back ported to the Benchmark engine. ESO We are currently taking advantage of the anniversary event by clearing trials and doing world boss kills for loot boxes. After we have our cake of course so we get our event tickets. STO Alea Iacta Est Classis, our Federation Fleet, has finished upgrading all Fleet holdings. We continue to enable ways for our members to earn Fleet Credits, but all items, ships, and bridge officers have been unlocked! Alea Iacta Est Honoris, our Klingon Fleet, is working on all holdings with the focus currently split between the Starbase and the Spire to unlock fleet consoles. STO's current event is celebrating First Contact Day! Earn the Photon Rifle with 14 days of progress earned by running one of two TFOs or a Patrol. Along side this, players can create Delta Recruits.
