The Academy is excited to announce the launching of our very own Podcast developed by the students! The students offer a whimsical and fresh perspective on what the Academy is, its role at Kennesaw State University, and how it’s influenced the students' lives. We have been so proud of the way that they are driving the weekly meetings, marketing, and content creation. This opportunity allows the students to talk about what matters to them, learn technical skills, and obtain internship hours.

Fall 2021 Academy Podcast Kickoff!
In the Academy season finale, the students interview Irene Turner, Producer of the film 6,000 Waiting. 6,000 Waiting tells the powerful stories of three Georgians with developmental disabilities whose lives are significantly impacted by the staggering lack and complexity of state Medicaid waiver funding.
Today we meet with Noelle Ford, a second year ASCE student. Noelle discusses how she gets through the day as a student with a disability. March is cerebral palsy awareness month.
Zachary Law, ASCE student, and Jackson Hurst, ALCD student, were interviewed for student of the month. Academy student month is someone who has worked really hard and displayed leadership qualities. Harmony Fort is now our engineer for our Podcasts.
In today's episode Academy students interviewed Shanelle Kent. We dove deeper into the Academics of the Academy. She provided insightful information regarding her position and her length of time with the Academy. She's a wonderful asset to the program.
