This is closely tied to a 4-hour collaboration between Sam Harris and me, which Sam is posting to his podcast's feed. I strongly recommend that episode too! But it's not "required" for you to get everything out of this fascinating conversation with Seth.
This "episode" is just a quick new announcement of a new season of the podcast (finally)! And also of something very cool that I'm working on with fellow podcaster Sam Harris.

Welcome back! 👍
"Does incredible violence to our intuitions"? I can't listen to this crap. You're trying to sound trendy in lieu of accurately conveying meaning.
@6:52: "Bears no resemblance" to traditional advertising?! It's an infomercial! That's all it is. What is with you people who pretend old, crappy things are somehow trendy or better just because you use a redundant neologism or merely do it on a podcast?
Yay 😁
great podcast
But fiat isn’t beautiful
Grade A content, guests, and dialogue. I love Rod Reid's interview style and hope he continues after the hiatus
Regarding the subject of split brains, you have some contradictory info between Ep. 53 and 51. The eyes do not report to different hemispheres of the brain according to Don Hoffman in episode 53. However, you and Harris agreed that each eye reports to a different hemisphere. In fact, the both eyes map to the left hemisphere, correct?
