I don't have enough time or space to go into the many partially incorrect facts you gave. 1. There were far more reasons than just the moon, waves, binoculars, Captain Smith, etc. 2. There is evidence that the rivets used on the Titanic were of cheap material. Once they reached freezing temperatures, they became brittle and thus were easily breakable. 3. The ocean was calm therefore it was hard to see any waves breaking against the iceberg. 4. The iceberg was made of black ice which would have been hard to see with or without binoculars. 5. While it is partially true that it was thought that too many lifeboats would look cluttered, Titanic was well equipped based on the regulations of that time. The Board of Trade had not updated the regulations since 1896. 6. Maggie Brown was not known as Unsinkable until after the Titanic sank. 7. The reason Captain Smith plowed through the ice field was because that was the known method of dealing with icebergs at the time. He did what he was trained to do. 8. Two and a half hours is not a long amount of time when coraling 2000+ people who did not know where to go, who thought it was a drill and who thought Titanic was actually safer than the lifeboats. 9. One of the reasons the lifeboats did not go back is because the crew were afraid of suction from the sinking ship. This was incorrect but it was their thinking. 10. White Star Line never claimed Titanic was unsinkable. That was the media's portrayal. 11. First (or Second) Officer Lightoller testified that the boats were not filled to capacity because of negligence, yes, but also because he did not believe that the mechanism holding the boats would break, that they would collapse before lowering the boats into the sea. Honestly, did you get all your facts from the movie? If you're going to play "Who's to blame?", learn all the facts.
