Description
Alex Kraemer is an Anxious Introvert who lives in Pittsburgh. He's always had a curiosity about people and the worlds they live in, but has never had a venue to do so (kind of, this is like my sixth or seventh podcast but you get the drift). Alex invites friends, acquaintances, or people he's talking to for the first time and just learns more about. They dive into the super personal, life questions, similar interests, etc. Alex hopes to grow more as a person through the conversations he has on his show. Will you join him?

Hello! It's been a while (four months to be exact). I decided to auction a spot on my show for Arcade Comedy Theaters silent auction. Just thought, what the hell and see what happens. I was very surprised and pleased that Stephen bid to do the show. I was on a Improv team with him for a short time. Me and Stephen talk about growing up in Canada, deciding to come to the states, how we are at parties and finding our comfort zone, and his career in architecture. We also dive into getting older, how we've evolved as people and our still learning. We even discuss politics which I'm still not great at honestly. I'll dive into some more stuff in a blog post, but I'm really happy I did this episode with Stephen. Need to have more conversations and it was a delight. I don't know if I'm continuing or this is the end. But I hope you enjoy this chat as much as I did. Enjoy!
I took Matts (Mars) recommendation and invited Nadia Johnson on the show. We did musical in high school, but I didn't really talk to her that much or had a one on one. She talks to me about her schooling to go into her career into Archaeology. This leads us to discuss how those many years of schooling made her discover herself and how she's changed as a person. We also talk about our introversion, Anxiety, and what it's like being a stepmother. Was great to finally chat with Nadia. Hope to do it again. Enjoy!
I've known Matt for a while, but this is my first time really getting to know him, you follow me? I did High School musical and swim team with Matt, but never really talked to him that much. We both open up about our introversion, our mental health, and how we are with it. Matt also talks to me about moving to Philadelphia, learning new things, finding out what to do with your life, religion, life, and so much more. I'm so glad that I finally got a chance to talk to Matt and actually have a conversation with him. This was such a great talk. Enjoy!
I met Natalie Cunningham I believe thru Facebook. She is a fellow introvert, so I wanted to hear her story. We discuss her life working in the corporate world and deciding to quit her job. We also discuss learning about your introversion, going into life coaching, meditation, vulnerability, and so much more! It was so nice to hat and learn bout Natalie. Check out her videos and website under the name Empowered First. Enjoy!
Part 2 of my talk with Rebekah Lecoq! Look at the description of Part 1 for details. Very fun talk, hope you enjoy!!
I've only met Rebekah once before she came on the show and that was when I auditioned for a show she produces. Becoming friends on social media made me want to ask her to be on the show. We talk about living in Georgia, Nashville, theater, growing up religious, being independent, learning to grow in your career, and so much more! This was such a fun conversation I had to slice it into two parts! Was great to talk with Rebekah. Enjoy!
I met Daisy In a Facebook group for Introverts. We started talking a bit and really liked opening up about our introversion. That's what this talk is mainly about. We discuss slowly learning about our introversion, the "aha!" moment of discovery, changes we've made as people, Vulnerability, and so much more! This was such a great conversation and a reminder of why I really love conversations like it. Daisy was so great to talk to. Enjoy!
I did high school musical with Hannah. I even thought I was rude to Hannah in our youth. We clear that up and talk about so much more. We talk about her career so far as an actress, confidence as a young teen, relationships, her family, and so much more. Was great fun to talk to Hannah. Wish I did it sooner! Enjoy!
I've known Aaron since 7th or 8th grade I believe. But this is the first time we ever sat down and had a chat like this. We talk about how annoying facebook is and what our lives are like doing this pandemic. But we mostly talk about our younger days. Being in bands, doing great gigs as a kid, egos clashing, finding the right band for you, and just being a damn kid. This was so much fun! Aaron was a blast to talk with. Enjoy!
This is my third time interviewing Fred and my first time interviewing Morgan Cunningham. I've never had a full conversation with Morgan so I thought I'd invite her on. We talk about the art they both do, how they met, dating and knowing when to move in with each other. We also dive into life and therapy talk. They are such a nice couple and it was great to finally chat with Morgan. Enjoy!
Like a lot of guests on this show, this is the first time I've had a conversation with Katie. This is a great getting to know you conversation. We talk about her work, what she was into as a kid, singing, her family, and being an aunt. We also talk about life, vulnerability, and what were working on in our lives. I had a great time talking to Katie. Enjoy!
John is a guy I've always enjoyed being around, even though we don't know each other extremely well. We talk about a lot of things like music and vinyl, being a husband and father, and life stuff. But we really dive into our own mental health and how we feel in the improv community. It was so nice to have such an open discussion and just vent. John is a really cool guy and I was glad to have him on the podcast. Enjoy!
I met Greg in 2017 when we took some Improv classes together. He has become one of my favorite people to watch do Improv. Me and him talk about music, plans that cancelled because of the pandemic, being married, concerts he's gone to, and so much more. Greg is a great guy and I always enjoy talking to him. Enjoy!
This is my first conversation ever with Mike and I'm glad we made it happen. We talk about where he grew up and knowing when to leave, comedy influences and his strong opinions on comedy, being a father, and some improv praise and discussion. Mike is such a sweet guy and you can totally tell that he cares about that things he does. Would like to have him on again to pick his brain more honestly. Enjoy!
Kevin Flinn is a sweet guy who's gone through a lot of stuff. Never had a conversation with Kevin before so it was great to finally chat with him. We talk about health issues, being anxious and not great at talking about ourselves, Penn State, Improv, and learning to grow as people. Kevin was so much fun to talk to. I hope I get to do it again. Enjoy!
Mindy is someone I've been wanting to talk to for a while. I'm so glad I did since I've only had quick words at shows with her and are social media friends. We talk about growing up a shy and anxious kid, how she came to owning her own gym, knowing when to stand up for herself and become her own person, and being a parent. We also have a very open discussion about loss and tragedy. I really enjoyed this conversation with Mindy. Great to finally chat with her. Enjoy!
I've known Joe since we were little kids and I've always enjoyed his company. He's one of the funniest people I know and I just wanted to invite him to chat. We talk about going to catholic school, starting to form your own opinions, politics, music, and life in general. It's always great to chat with Joe, such a great guy. Enjoy!
Kate was a guest on my podcast before this one. She is the first guest to come with a theme. Since it's been over a month since the tragic passing of Eddie Van Halen and Kate is a huge fan of him she wanted to come on to talk about him. We talk about when her super fandom started as an early teen recording their music videos. We also discuss their history as a band, compare all three singers, their label as "Dad Rock" and how that's really cool, music journalism in general, and so much more! This was so cool to learn about them from such a huge fan like Kate and finding out how Eddie is more complex than the world gave him credit for. Kate is always so much fun to talk to. Enjoy!
I was in a band with Cameron when we were teenagers (Merc was our name). But I never got to really know him when I was younger and we do just that with this talk. We really talk about what he's doing now in life now that he lives in New York, our days in Merc together, and a whole lot of music talk. It was great to finally have a chat with Cameron, a really nice guy. Enjoy!
I first met Sarah briefly when she interned at Arcade Comedy Theater when she was bald. I thought she would never want to talk to me for some reason, but I was wrong! Me and Sarah talk about why she shaved her head and a plethora of other topics. We discuss her life growing up, riding horses, making important life decisions, getting sober, and our mental health/introversion. I had a great time talking to Sarah, she's really cool. Enjoy!
