Over the last 40 years, evangelical Christians have become an influential voting block. White evangelical support for Donald Trump exceeded 80 percent in the 2016 election. Asian massage workers and sex workers have long been the targets of violence in America – but their stories often get pushed to the margins. This week, as AAPI Heritage Month begins, we’re pulling those stories to the center.
