The America Show

At the Third Thursday event for the Central Texas Objectivist group, Ryan Puzycki gave a talk about how we can fight to improve our rights here in Austin. Many of those in the audience are transplants from other states like California and New York, as is Ryan Puzycki, who recently moved from San Francisco.

On this episode I sit down with my friend Ryan Puzycki to discuss how Austin politics works and how we can convince him to run for a local office. We also discussed the book by Ben Sass "The Vanishing American Adult: Our Coming of Age Crisis." There are many issues that impact our lives, and we often think that we have no control over what happens to us. This simply is not true. And when it comes to politics, it may be true that your individual actions have little sway over national politics, you have a very powerful voice when it comes to city and state politics.

On this episode I talk with Marco Romero, a successful real estate investor living in San Antonio, TX. Starting from zero he has built a sizable real estate portfolio. We discuss his entire real estate journey and how he got to his current position. We also discuss some of the more creative real estate investment markets out there.

I have purchased a house and I'm in the process of moving, so I am not able to do full episodes right now. I hope you'll enjoy this shorter episode where I read a classic American poem.
