The Art of Architecture

Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art’s unique design was created by international architect Moshe Safdie. The Museum is situated at the base of natural ravine in the Ozark forest. Two copper-roofed and glass-walled bridge structures span a pair of ponds fed by nearby Crystal Spring. The building’s materials and organic shapes are meant to complement the surrounding landscape. This indoor tour, led by curatorial assistant Dylan Turk, guides you through key architectural features of Crystal Bridges’ iconic building, designed by Moshe Safdie.
