701: AoC Podcast | Brutal Truths Part 1
We all want attention, approval, and acceptance. But we can’t expect others to give us that if we don’t approve of ourselves. Most often, the reason we struggle with self-acceptance is because we are running away from the brutal truths of life. In today’s episode of The Art of Charm, we run the other way, towards those these uncomfortable facts, to unpack and examine them. From understanding that nobody actually cares about you to accepting the finality of death, this episode leaves no room for the fearful. Here are some of the questions we explore. The Cheat Sheet: What are the some of the brutal truths of life that we don’t want to think about? How does accepting the finality of death make you feel more free? Why do men run away from their emotions instead of embracing them? How does technology corrupt our ability to enjoy intimacy? How is the term ‘adulting’ just a cover-up for your aversion to responsibility? And so much more… Full show notes at https://theartofcharm.com/podcast-episodes/art-of-charm-podcast-brutal-truths-part1-701/ Casper is the award-winning mattress w/ 20,000 5-star reviews. man I just feel like for anybody with mental health disabilities or illness this could be the wrong message. perception versus reality of a person's action or mental handicap or physical handicap is you know always different than the person that has to deal with it you can suffer from both you don't have to be one without the other and that's so true in many aspects of life but we're so conditioned to be confined by that diagnosis

I work with mentally challenged adults and everything I learn here is helping me become an even cooler guy for my Members to relate to. I mean I am helpless when it comes to teaching them basic curriculum but I am able to connect with these folks on a real level that includes a spectrum of a rock n roll sensibility even if it meanders into subject matter that they may not usually have an opportunity to express themselves about. My confidence provides an environment of trust for them and it seems to be the first time some topics are discussed openly for them. Today we discussed Hygiene...including washing our private parts...not in a pervy way...openly and with humor. Anyway...thanks dudes...im the only male Staff in our class and by being as good of man I know how to be has been the right thing to be right now in my life.

The new hosts really lowered the value of the show. I couldn't be any less interested in what AJ and what's-his-name have to say. Stupid decision to fire Jordan and Jason. Pretty rich that you started with a high value advice episode.
