Stan and Claire sat down with Sian and Krupa to talk all things partners.
From how they first met, to the journey of creating The Attention Seeker business together, they give us some insight into the behind the scenes stories of a great partnership.
When you argue with a fool, people from afar can't tell the difference.
Stanley and Drew discuss their different approaches when it comes to being sucked into the 'C', word conversation and how the concept of everyone having this topic in common could potentially be to our detriment rather than unifying us positively.
This week Stanley and Drew discuss their differences when it comes to delegation and leadership. Neither right or wrong they explore the grey area of this topic as it differs from person to person and dive into their personal backstories as to why they think and lead in their respective ways.
When it comes to building a business, it's all grey. Drew (Influential U), and Stanley (The Attention Seeker), discuss invitations and connections, suspecting and prospecting and what you can control when it comes to meeting your aims.
Stanley & Drew discuss Robert Cialdini's 7 Influence Principles and how they have shaped their last year.
So this week’s podcast was so much fun!
This week we discussed the different ways in which brands use LinkedIn.
We went through some pretty interesting examples, discussed Duolingo, Spotify Wrapped, BTS & more!
Tune into Sian & Shreya’s LinkedIn Rewind for a light yet insightful take on branding & LinkedIn.
Hey hey hey!
We’re back with the 3rd episode of our podcast – Sian & Shreya’s LinkedIn Rewind, where they discuss the week gone by on LinkedIn.
For the 3rd episode, Sian and Shreya decided that it would be interesting to talk about who exactly can use LinkedIn.
Since a lot of people think of LinkedIn as simply a recruitment tool or a platform meant just for industry professionals, they decided to debunk some of these mysteries in their upcoming episode.
So, tune in to know more.
We’re already on to the 2nd episode of our podcast – Sian & Shreya’s LinkedIn Rewind, where they discuss the week gone by on LinkedIn.
For our second episode, Sian and Shreya picked up where they left off last week.
In this episode, they talk about the importance of [using] pictures on LinkedIn.
They found some pretty great examples that conveyed this message in different ways.
Some pictures supplemented the copy and others spoke a thousand words on their own.
All in all, all of these posts had one thing in common – they reflected how important it is to post pictures on LinkedIn and how you can go about doing it ways that suit you.
So, tune in to know more!
Are you OVERFLOWING with ideas?
We know we are!
There are so many pieces of content that we have been wanting to create, one of which included this podcast.
We spend so much of our day on social media and LinkedIn, I mean that's our job right?
There is SO much content on LinkedIn posted every second, and that's just 1 platform. While catching up in one of our Friday afternoon debriefs, we thought 'why not do a LinkedIn debrief for the week?'.
Of course, everyone jumped on the idea, and here we are.
This podcast will cover off any interesting, weird and, wonderful posts we have seen on LinkedIn throughout the week. If you want to be featured in our weekly podcast, use the hashtag #TASLinkedInRoundup - you never know, we might just talk about you!
This week, one of our favourite posts was from Stephen Paul Wright and we loved it because we thought the picture alone said one thousand words! Unless you've been living under a rock, you'll know that his costume is a reference to one of the biggest memes of the year. All he had to do to get great engagement was post a picture of his costume and his job was done. It clearly shows you how powerful a picture can be.
You've seen it (or heard it) here first.
On this episode of Origin Story, I sat down with Te Omeka.
If there is one thing you take away from this talk, it must be the idea of Kaizen.
'The relentless pursuit of excellence'
You can see this idea throughout Te Omeka's journey through life.
Each time he went through a challenge in life or a learning moment, he reflected on it, realised how he could tweak it for next time and then stored that information away for later in life when the opportunity next presented itself to improve upon what he had learnt.
An amazing journey by an amazing man.
In this episode of Origin Story, I had the pleasure of having three guests on the show, we had Caroline Saufoi, Carol Pito and Agness Stowers.
There is a saying that behind every great man is an even greater woman.
Well in this Origin Story you will learn that behind every great Executive is an even greater Executive Assistant.
In this world we live in where large corporations are getting larger by the day, spearheaded by powerful and talented CEO's, CIO's, CFO's and all the other acronyms, we have a layer of women and men running the lives of these executives in the background, the unsung heroes of corporations that are quite often the glue that holds companies together.
On this episode we get to hear from quite literally three of the best in the business with Caroline Saufoi winning New Zealand's Executive Assistant of the year in 2019. These amazing women speak about being multilayered minorities making it in a corporate world and what they are doing to help make it easy for the next generation of Admin Professionals coming up through the ranks and advocating for those already in established careers.
If you are looking for your daily does of inspiration this is the episode for you.
In this episode of Origin Story I spoke with Kristin Harper the Founder and Director of Harper Consultancy.
Who focuses on his three pillars of Sales, Technology and Maori. He brings a huge range of Sales Leadership in to a business environment that helps companies generate more sales through an 'Old School' approach based on creating long lasting mutually beneficial partnerships with clients.
We dug deep in to Kristin's back story to understand where his resilience comes from and why at this stage of his life he has the "I just don't care attitude' when it comes to people opinions of him. It isn't that he is arrogant, it is that he is so content with who he has become that he is no longer looking for the approval of others. With a new young family in tow his future looks full of love and success and so to hear his story is to understand that not all roads are easy and that sometimes the harder journey is the one that provides the greener pastures.
In this episode of Origin Story, I had the pleasure of speaking with Howard Youngs a Senior Lecturer Leadership in Education at Auckland University of Technology.
This episode was one full of thought-provoking questions and ideas, and I left this talk with more questions then when I went in and I’m so grateful for that fact.
It gave me a new light on leadership and its role in society and the workplace.
I can not wait to have further talks with Howard and pick his brain further.
In this episode of Origin Story I chat with a good friend Liesel who is the owner of Founder of The Retreats Specialists & Retreats at Resorts.
Her story is one of self discovery, travel, perseverance to find a way to bring to the world something that she believes in, something she is passionate about, and something that changes lives.
Her retreats are truly inspirational, they allow people to discover themselves and find a level of self-awareness that they couldn't have done on their own.
Listen to Liesel as she shares her path to both financial and spiritual freedom.
In this episode of Origin Story, I had the pleasure of speaking with Shantelle Thompson who is a Mother, Storyteller, Entrepreneur, 3 X BJJ World Champion, and 2019 NAIDOC Sportsperson of the year.
Her story is one of resilience, love, pain, passion, and perseverance. There are lessons in this very raw conversation that all of us can learn from and to put a spotlight on these issues is very important.
I hope you enjoy this, I’m sure everyone will take what they need from it.
In this episode of Origin Story, I speak with Josh Farr the founder of Campus Consultancy.
His mission is to empower a generation of emotionally intelligent leaders.
His measure of success is determined by whether he is a better human today than he was yesterday.
Josh's Origin Story is one that many young budding entrepreneurs find themselves in after university, where they have ticked all the right boxes and landed on a path to the so-called successful career path, and though to themselves “Is this making me a better human?”
Sit back and get ready to have a wealth of knowledge thrown at you in the next hour and a bit.
We kick off this new podcast with such an amazing guest, Mr Phoenix Normand.
You can appreciate who Phoenix is with his about page stating simply he is an Author, Personal Success Coach, Minimalist. Truth Seeker.
Phoenix's Origin Story is one that many people have seen before, working your way through corporate life for somebody else earning really good money with that big fat carrot dangling in front of your face at all times.
Phoenix broke the mould and decided to help others do the same and become the best they can be.
You will definitely enjoy this story; I know I did and there is so much we can learn from amazing people like Phoenix.
