During a press gaggle this week, President Trump casually announced that the United States would allow 600,000 Chinese nationals to enter the country as college students. He has long focused on improving relations with China, but the idea of importing and educating such numbers runs against the America First instincts of his voters. When Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick was asked why these students were so important, he admitted that many U.S. universities would go out of business without foreign enrollment. For the Right, that sounds less like a warning and more like a promise. Ending large-scale immigration from a rival power while letting bankrupt institutions fail should be an easy win. After a Sikh semi-truck driver allegedly killed three people while attempting an illegal U-turn in Florida, he was charged with three counts of vehicular homicide. In response, millions of his fellow Indians have signed a petition demanding his release, and $1 million dollars has been raised in his name. This has caused a larger conversation on social media about the way that many industries in the United States have become ethnic cartels due to immigration from the subcontinent. The Trump administration recently announced that it will be reviewing all 55 million foreigners with U.S. visas for violations that would bar them from the country. The United Kingdom is embroiled in a strange controversy: Officials are trying to ban the English flag from the public square. As immigration-driven violence rises, national identity has become central. Many Englishmen, watching as immigrants pour in and grooming gangs prey on their daughters, have begun raising the red-and-white St. George’s Cross. Officials invent excuses to tear those flags down — even as immigrant groups replace the Union Jack with the flag of Pakistan. President Trump announced on Monday that he would be exercising his authority to federalize control of law enforcement in Washington, D.C. The move comes after the president threatened action in the wake of a brutal attack on a DOGE staffer while the young man attempted to defend his girlfriend during a carjacking. National Guard troops will supplement D.C. metro police in an effort to quell violent crime in the city. Americans are tired of hearing excuses for why the nation’s cities feel dirty and unsafe when we already know how to solve these problems. Crime is a policy choice, and Trump has taken decisive action with a promise to restore law and order to the nation’s capital. At a recent Panamerican Congress in Mexico City, Democratic Rep. Delia Ramirez of Illinois stood before attendees and declared in Spanish, “I’m a proud Guatemalan before I’m an American.” Ramirez, who sits on the House Homeland Security Committee, helps shape policies vital to the nation’s safety. Yet she openly and proudly identifies with another country — and in a foreign language, no less. Ramirez isn’t alone. She’s part of a growing class of politicians who treat their American citizenship as a formality. Many are first-generation immigrants. Ramirez isn’t even that. She was born to an illegal immigrant mother who crossed the border while pregnant and secured birthright citizenship for her daughter. On paper, Ramirez is American. In every other way, she is not. Last week, Logan Riley and Brandon Mitchell went viral when the gay couple shared a post of the baby boy they had acquired through surrogacy. It has become very common for gay couples to celebrate purchasing children from their mothers on social media, but as the horrific consequences of surrogacy have become more well known, public opposition has become more common. Many on social media raised concerns that the gay adoption was not in the interest of the child, who may experience severe consequences from not being raised by a mother. These reasonable concerns were met with the usual accusations of bigotry by gay activists seeking to silence the opposition. The activists who viciously smeared any critics of the gay couple fell silent when it was revealed that one of the new “fathers” is a convicted sex offender.
