Most of Jesus’s miracles were of HEALING people. God promises healing to believers. But how can we hold onto this hope of healing? God has great love, grace, and compassion for His children. Whatever it is His children lack, He as our Heavenly Father will supply it! Just as Jesus the Son of God has an inheritance from the Lord, SO DO WE! We've got to wrap our heads around the fact that God provides in unexpected ways, but He DOES provide. Sometimes, it feels like God's presence isn't there. We might be looking around wide-eyed and frantic, but the moment we ask for Him, He is there. His presence is a promised constant. In the fourth and final part of the Samson series, Autumn closes out with a challenge: do you know what your weaknesses are? Samson nursed his weaknesses with women and showing off. What he didn’t realize was that the very weaknesses he kept at bay instead of handling them with the Lord became what the enemy used to get to him. What have you been using to nurse your weaknesses? When your circumstances are dire, you have the opportunity to choose if you will let your faith be dictated by your circumstances or held firm by the unchanging character of God. A Shunammite woman was blessed by God through Elisha to have a son, and when her grown son had died, she didn’t look at her circumstances and say all was lost and she had no hope. Sometimes God will lead us to a calling that we are not meant to see all the way through. Sometimes He might only want us to be a part of the beginning, the middle, or the end. Samson was prophesied to begin the deliverance of Israel, but he was never meant to see it all the way through. Jesus calming the storm is a common story of the Bible that most of you know. But have you ever thought about why Jesus delayed going to the disciples in the storm? He didn’t go out to the disciples on the water until late into the night. And it was so strange, the disciples thought Jesus was a ghost! They were uncomfortable, they were scared, and they didn’t understand what Jesus was doing. But Jesus wanted to show the disciples a side of him they had never seen before.
