The B.I.Stander Podcast

Today we welcome: Stacy Hemingway CEO of https://consciousclassroom.com/ As the creator of Conscious Classroom, I aim to foster a culture of self-awareness that aids in understanding our life's journey. Self-awareness teaches us to distinguish our patterns, behaviors, personality, and reality. By understanding how we use breathwork, mindfulness, meditation, and our senses, we learn to shape our experiences. This process leads us to heightened consciousness, making us more present and aware. When we start noticing our thoughts and how we show up in the world, we can design a life that genuinely reflects who we are. We begin to live our dreams in the present rather than seeing them as distant aspirations. Our lives align with our truest selves—a life we imagine and manifest rather than one shaped by external expectations. This journey of self-discovery is a source of constant inspiration and motivation. This authenticity allows us to feel a deep sense of belonging within ourselves. As lifelong learners, we continuously build a toolbox of breathing and mindfulness techniques that help us self-regulate, recalibrate, and thrive through life's inevitable ups and downs. Lifelong learning, in this context, refers to the ongoing process of self-discovery and personal growth. Developing a trusting relationship with ourselves reveals that we are the source—that the true teacher resides within us. I established Conscious Classroom to provide a platform for students, educators, administrators, families, and communities to tap into their inner wisdom, create a life aligned with their unique vision, and trust the intuition that guides us all. It's a space for nurturing self-awareness and mindfulness, and understanding our brain and body systems and how they interact and influence our behaviors. Conscious Classroom offers a container to learn the art and science of self-awareness, self-management, and conscious choice. Our unique approach engages experiential learning, enabling mastery experience and lifelong learning.   Thank you for your support! The B.I.Stander Podcast is a listener supported podcast so please consider subscribing and patronizing the follow businesses.   BE A FRIEND OF PODCASTVILLE AND TELL A FRIEND! Todays podcast is deciated to Bernadette Roberts  TODAY WE WELCOME BACK JOHN PERKINS! with co-host Joel Underwood Since World War II, US presidents of both parties have relied on an economic hit man strategy. They have used the four pillars of that strategy (fear, debt, anxiety over insufficiency, and divide and conquer) to control other nations and enrich a growing oligarchy. In the groundbreaking Confessions of an Economic Hit Man trilogy, John Perkins exposed the complex, expansive, and clandestine global network that serves the interests of powerful corporate, financial, and political entities. In The Art of the Steal, he reveals its most dangerous evolution. Donald Trump represents a historic shift. He is the first US president to turn the economic hit man strategy into a personal brand and governing style. He has ascended the four pillars, brought the playbook home, and reversed the march toward the American ideal of liberty, equality, justice, democracy, opportunity, and an individualism that supports family and community. At the same time, he has forced what was hidden into the open. This book explains how this happened, why it matters, and what each of us can do to turn things around. Both warning and blueprint, it offers a pathway to renewing the American ideal—and using it to model a new global ideal.Thank you for your support! The B.I.Stander Podcast is a listener supported podcast so please consider subscribing and patronizing the follow businesses.   BE A FRIEND OF PODCASTVILLE AND TELL A FRIEND! TODAY WE WELCOME MATT BUTLER Learn more about his work at mattbutlersongs.com and artthatserves.org. Reckless Son, the nationally acclaimed solo show written and performed by singer-songwriter Matt Butler, was inspired by his journey performing over 100 concerts in jails and prisons across the country. As heard on NPR Morning Edition and featured in SPIN's Album of the Year list, Reckless Son sheds light on the stories of people who have experienced incarceration. Through a powerful combination of spoken word and song, the performance turns a compassionate eye to their lives before, during and after their time behind prison walls and evokes empathy and understanding for those who are all too often considered out of sight and out of mind. It's a story of hope, forgiveness, and what it means to discover a deeper sense of purpose through service to others. Raising awareness, shifting perspectives, and empowering individuals to create change within their communities, Reckless Son is more than just a show, it's a calling.   Content Advisory: please note that this production is recommended for ages 14 and up, and includes the following themes and/or elements: Suicide Self-harm Drug and alcohol addiction and substance abuse BUY TICKETS BPA   Thank you for your support! The B.I.Stander Podcast is a listener supported podcast so please consider subscribing and patronizing the follow businesses.   BE A FRIEND OF PODCASTVILLE AND TELL A FRIEND!
