Meg Faure is an Occupational Therapist, co-author of 8 parenting books, including the best-selling Baby Sense and Weaning Sense books, and founder of the Parent Sense baby app. I’ve always said that we don’t get parenting manuals, but Meg is as close as we get! Today I thought I’d turn the tables and instead of being on her podcast, I wanted to invite Meg to be on my podcast. I didn’t want to ask questions I thought you wanted to know… I’m asking questions that you actually want to know… I posted a question on my social media and asked parents to share a question they’d love to ask a parenting expert. The response was phenomenal, which really affirmed the need for Meg’s podcast – a wealth of parenting knowledge. So, we’re going to get through as many of the questions, that you came up with and I want to thank you for getting involved and for being here today. 1. How do we get a 1 year old to sleep past 4am? 2. Any tips of giving up a 3 year old dummy? 3. How to improve and promote 2 year olds speech? 4. Daughter is 4, any advice on how to potty train at night? Nappies are wet every morning. 5. How do we deal with constantly feeling that you aren’t being enough for your kids in all aspects? 6. Is there a reason to worry that my child will always be an only child? 7. Need to give away our family dog. How do we deal with our kids (understandable) reactions? 8. How do we deal with the whole new gender issue as a parent?

Thank you for joining me today on my latest episode of The Bailey Boost Interviews. I’d heard a lot about dripping, having an IV drip full of vitamins and to be honest, I was really apprehensive about the whole concept of it. I decided to give it a try at the beginning of the month and I shared that on Instagram – you can find my experience under the highlights section - CLICK HERE. I shared my experience, including my apprehension because I figured that I’m apprehensive, others must be too and sharing is always a good idea to hopefully be helpful. I did not expect it to spark such a huge conversation in my DMs and it became very evident that this needed to be turned into a Podcast. Keri Rudolph is the Owner and Founder of The IV Bar and she's answered all the questions that came pouring in. I LOVE doing this because I always learn new things too! Have you had a Vitamin Drip? Share your experience with me :) baileygeorgiades@gmail.com

S1E2: Today I’m delighted to be joined by Jade Kirkel and Dani Silbermann. Who are they, you’re wondering? They are Moms, who on a lounge floor somewhere between a playdate and a bottle feed, came up with an idea to make Kids Interchangeable Sneakers. Introducing www.joyjoy.co.za
Welcome to S1E1 of The Bailey Boost Interviews. I'm proudly launching in Women's Month: August 2022. Did you know in March 2022, that only 7% of all engineers in South Africa are women? While a lot is being done to advance women in sciences and to encourage young girls to take an interest in science, the South African science and technology industries are still largely lacking diversity. It’s not often that a renowned bio-technology company is steered by a woman, let alone a young woman! At just 32 years old, Dr Xandra van Heerden, General Manager of Optiphi, is a true inspiration. We chat about science for women, animal testing, science based skincare and more!
