Description
The Benefits Advisor Podcast is designed to share the best ideas, strategies and concepts being implemented by leading individuals, firms and companies in the employee benefits industry.
The benefits business is SO much different than in days gone by. "Back In The Day," agents who sold group medical insurance and other group benefits were typically those who started as life insurance agents, were not stellar at prospecting, so they decided to get into the group business. And since no self respecting life insurance agent would mess with group products, agents who DID specialize in group benefits had tons of life insurance agents referring them business.
Fast forward to today, where those individuals who specialize in life insurance are constantly asking benefits advisors for referrals.
Let’s face it, the employee benefits industry has grown dramatically, but the complexity of being a “best in class” benefits advisor has also grown dramatically. Be it changes in products, cost structure, distribution or the political climate, a benefits advisor today is often overwhelmed with his/her obligations to their clients and providers.
In each episode of The Benefits Advisor Podcast, your hosts, Robert Clark & Chris Carlson, will be interviewing the thought leaders of our industry to give our listeners ideas, strategies and concepts that they can use to take their practice to the next level.og
