The Nitpicking Nerds Commander Beginner Guide is here! We are answering some commonly asked questions that come from newer players, as well as offering our advice as to wher to invest your money, what cards to look for, and which commanders are a good start for anyone teaching a newer player or any new player looking to build their first deck! Make sure to offer any advicde you might have for beginners in the comments.
We are coming at you with more cards we find to be overrated, which is to say they see play in a bit too many decks according to how we play the game. Hopefully we can spark some thought and conversation about these cards, and we are also going to recommend cards we think are strict upgrades!
Today we answer the question "Is cEDH a different format than commander?" We certainly think so, and we will be going over reasons why in the video. We will say again here in the comments that we have no problems with cEDH! We are just analyzing the differences between regular commander and cEDH, of which we think there are quite a few important ones.
