As we begin the Royal Kingdom period, we hear about the first king of Israel, Saul. We discover that though Saul looks like a fearless warrior, he has a major flaw. Fr. Mike also points out the significance of the readings from Proverbs. Today's readings are 1 Samuel 9-10 and Proverbs 6:23-35.

An interesting theory on the "Sons of God". But there is much more evidence to the contrary: They were fallen angels(demons) called "Watchers" in the Book of Enoch. as well as Job confirmed that "sons of God" referred to angels/fallen angels when Satan entered Heaven along with them to present themselves to God.
In a very Toxic relationship with my husband, and 15:00-22:00 minutes helps me to explain how very sad it makes me that my husband, my brother , my friend is so very broken by today's social environment, it's pressures, and sexual expectations of woman... maybe one day my friend will come back and sacrifice, or be celebate for my friendship alone... otherwise, this relationship does not serve me according to my Lord and his teachings!
