Frank makes his long-awaited return to ice hockey, but will McDonald's temporary rebrand as McDavid's help to cool USA-Canada tension? The MLS's reputation has taken a hit as the Houston Dynamos have offered free tickets because of a Messi no-show, and Eddie reacts to the news that the San Francisco 49ers have traded Deebo Samuel to the Washington Commanders. Plus, the FA Cup failed to deliver any shocks, and Manchester City look primed to avoid a trophyless season. And Blackburn Rovers' latest defeat has seen them slip out of the playoff places, but there's still all to play for in the Championship.  Eddie argues that Timothée Chalamet's acting career might be slightly overrated and Frank is finally all-in on 'The Pitt'.
In this episode of the Big Chill Podcast, hosts Frank and Edward discuss a variety of topics ranging from sports performances and social media engagement to music trivia and current events in the sports world. They delve into the implications of streaming quality and why Eddie might not have been wrong about his Fox versus Sky Super Bowl 4K quality assessment, have a go at a Valentine's Day quiz, and discuss Minnesota Timberwolves Star Anthony Edwards' latest drama. The conversation also covers the recent Champions League matches and another late slip-up from Manchester City, and the fallout from the Merseyside Derby. Plus, our reactions to all of the NFL games from Week 17, and a look ahead to the next round of the College Football Playoffs.

Eddie managed to lock himself out, but his week hasn't gone as badly as it has for Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. A loss to the Chargers and an MCL and LCL tear for Mahomes means that the Chiefs may be entering a rebuilding era, but does that mean retirement for Travis Kelce? A big comeback for the Bills and important wins for the Ravens and Steelers, but could anyone win the Super Bowl this year? Plus another unconvincing win for Arsenal as Manchester City ease past Crystal Palace. And Fernando Mendoza won the Heisman, but Diego Pavia may have been the biggest loser.
Eddie has a Fiat Topolino update as Nick Kyrgios and Aryna Sabalenka get set to face off in the 'Battle of the Sexes'. But the big news out of the tennis world is the potential return of Serena Williams. The 2026 FIFA World Cup is facing more challenges, as the US announces plans to screen social media history, and FIFA introduces 3-minute cool-down breaks. And University of Michigan football is mired in further controversy.  Plus, our previews and predictions for every game from Week 15 of the NFL Season. The Eagles lost again, but do they have any chance in the playoffs? And there were big wins for the Steelers, Packers, and Bills.

And as Lebron James' 10-point scoring streak finally comes to an end, has it been the safest bet in sports? Plus, previews and predictions for every game from Week 14 of the NFL Season. There are big playoff implications as the Ravens take on the Steelers, the Bills are desperate for a win, and the Jags host the Colts.

But Eddie has some good news for him as he lets him know about the hit new show 'Heated Rivalry' and its compelling hockey romance. Plus reaction to all of the weekend's NFL games, including a surprising loss for the Rams, another bad Shadeur Sanders performance, and a series of upsets in the Thanksgiving Day games. Eddie's in San Diego for the Breeders' Cup, but Frank does not approve of his approach to killing time on his flight to LA. Week of 8 of the NFL mostly went as expected, but Joe Flacco and the Bengals threw a game away against the Jets and have nearly killed off their playoff hopes as a result.  Plus, Liverpool lost again and Arsenal are in pole position in the Premier League.

Plus, Joe Flacco starred as the Steelers lost to the Bengals on Thursday Night Football, and Eddie has strong opinions on teams not killing the clock late in games.
There have been complaints about the quality of teams and games that the NFL is sending to London, but Frank and Eddie have some ideas about how the NFL could further endear itself to the British population. And while the Broncos and Jets served up a snoozefest in London, Week 6 of the NFL season further reinforced the idea that there are no great teams this year. Should the Bills and Lions be concerned? Are the Ravens dead in the water? And is Eddie changing his mind about the Chiefs?  Plus, the penultimate episode of 'Task' revealed some new twists and set HBO's hit miniseries up for a compelling finale.
