In this episode We will be exploring the real story of the first thanksgiving, and partnering with Maria to explore how we can honor and respect the indigenous community, mourn the lives that were lost, and teach our children the accurate and horrible story of the colonizers who committed genocide in the name of manifest destiny. Please be patient with the audio on this podcast, it was kind of a last minute decision to get this preview episode out there, and I figured it was more important to tell this story for thanksgiving, than to have a perfect beautiful edited podcast.
