It's Ohio State offensive line talk as Bill and Doug look at three offensive line injuries suffered by the Buckeyes on Saturday against Penn State. Tegra Tshabola, Luke Montgomery and Josh Padilla all went down during the game, and Ryan Day said Tuesday two should be fine but one might be dealing with something. With that in mind, Bill and Doug looked at the history of Ohio State offensive line injuries, how they feel about the current depth at the position, and recruiting and strategy for the position down the road. It's three college football rants from Doug Lesmerises on The Bill and Doug Show. First, Doug looks at how many times the four SEC teams that have fired their coaches -- Florida, LSU, Auburn and Arkansas -- have almost beaten one of the nine currently ranked SEC teams. It's a lot -- and that's not a good thing for the SEC. Then it's a look at the quarterback development failures at Penn State, Nebraska and Michigan State this season and how that has affected the Big Ten. Finally, D.J. Durkin was named the interim coach at Auburn ... which would only happen in the SEC. Thanks for joining The Bill and Doug Show. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. It's college football rants, starting with the ESPN College GameDay interview of fired Penn State coach James Franklin on Saturday. Doug Lesmerises is tired of college football media culture that puts coaches on a pedestal until they are fired, and then treats them as victims. Then it's onto the number of fired coaches so far this season and how that compares to the number of playoff teams. Finally, Doug admits he didn't see Alabama going 6-1, but he warns anyone who is getting too smug about the Tide's success. And then he recounts ripping the SEC in other ways.
