Description
Hollywood and Crime is a ground-breaking true crime series about the most infamous murders in Tinseltown history.
In The Black Dahlia Serial Killers, host Tracy Pattin investigates the sensational unsolved murder of Elizabeth Short. Known as the Black Dahlia, Short was a star-struck young woman whose body was found completely severed at the waist in January 1947. Many remember her tragic story, yet few know that more than a dozen other women died in similar circumstances around that same time.

Why do all Wondry podcasts sound the same? Always seems like topics I really would like to listen to, but the presenters and format is always so frustrating to listen to I can't even get thru one episode when I decide to give it another try . 🙄
I've listened to every episode up to this point but this episode was both boring and ridiculous. not finishing the series. The series as a whole was at least entertaining but honestly don't waste your time.
She is not African American.... She's not even Black.. Plus she is a Hypocrite...
Where are the rest of the episodes? It says 26!
Not for me.
Is this the one with the horrid commercials? Shivers
I was really enjoying your podcast, listened about halfway through, when I decided to skim through future episodes after you started interviewing the FBI BSA agent -- then I heard it -- the first of many "old" Werewolf Killer case theories that have been invalidated since most were solved/cleared by Sgt. Det. Steve Hodel (ret), of Hwd Div., LAPD. See "Black Dahlia Avenger" and "So Evil," two vol. ea., for details on perpetrators, Dr. George Hodel and Fred Sexton. Interviewing Det. Hodel would have proved much more factual and interesting.
Dr. George Hodel was such a prolific killer that HIS name should be far more feared than Manson's in L.A.
Nothing worse than a women who thinks they can get by on their looks alone in bed or out. Same for men but I have no experience there.
They still get false confessions for the Black D'alia? First I had heard that and I have heard this story quite a few times.
Have always been intrigued by this story. Like how it's told here. Like the way it's played like we are in the period
Again, FANTASTIC music!!!
Excellent choice of music in the background during the execution scene!

Great show and fantastic soundquality!
This reminds me of Mystery Theater of the 70's from the radio. Thanks for making it great listening.
WTF. Luminary is an app (not free I assume) that's only available in the US UK Australia and Canada... this is BS. Really loved this podcast but B.Y.E.
