Where's the dislike button for an episode? I loved this series, just the last 5 minutes that completely ruined it.

I literally groaned to myself after hearing the last few sentences of dialogue and thought "they've ruined it". Waited to hear what would happen next.... then the credits rolled. Swearing ensued. I didn't realise the episode was that close to the end.

I've listened to this podcast four times now and all along I've been telling myself that I swear the theme song is Terry miles singing, finally Shazam'd the song and it actually is Terry miles' band

wait didn't they say Charlie wasn't Cora's daughter? didnt Cora's mom say her mother was some Canadian woman?, so why does Charlie call Cora her mom? doesn't make sense unless it's because she helped raise her? could be better explained..

Do not listen to this. It has a lot of great (sometimes confusing) build up with zero pay off. Total wasted opportunity here.

What the absolute fuck was that ending? Just, fuck it? Seriously. Even if this was the last episode it could have been written so much better. This is honestly terrible.

Hearing Alex actually apologize for her shitty behavior was great. She has been so unlikable through out this whole season.

What I don't understand is why Simon waited this long to spill the beans? Actually... there's a few things and connections I don't quite understand, and Im not sure if its because some of the connections were left intentionally open or if its because I missed stuff over the infodump that these last few episodes were. Is there anyone else who feels like theres a lot of stuff still open? Otherwise I'll have to relisten 🤭❤️ As negative as this sounded, I actually enjoyed the podcast, it was great content for a binge, I actually listened to this small last season in one day 👀 The only thing in the whole thing that bothered me was how the whole story with coralee (sp?) was resolved. TECHNICALLY they explained everything and TECHNICALLY Strands reaction to the whole reveal wasn't unrealistic, but it did make me as a listener feel robbed/snubbed/it just felt unsatisfying to me? Other than that though, a good podcast

So I started listening to this show back in 2017 and was hooked. I've binged as much as I absolutely could and got left on a very long cliffhanger. Surprise surprise when I discovered it was back with new episodes from 2020, though I was listening in 2021. So I re listen to the whole series. And I could see pretty early on that the writers were working themselves into a corner that they likely would not be able to write themselves out of. And the ending confirms that. I'm kind of disappointed. I wish the tension had been built between Strand and Alex a little more deftly, and that some of the writing had pulled back a bit in order to allow for more climactic ending. Having finally gotten to the end after literally years of waiting, I can tell you I probably won't listen to this series again. I'm starting on a couple other series by the same group, but with lowered expectations. I really do appreciate all the attention to detail. This was a well-crafted podcast, the audio was quality and the writing for dialogue was pretty solid. The background sounds and sound effects or expertly done.

Everyone complaining about the ending I thought it was really good. Kind of a 'coin never stops spinning' scenario. I like to think they went Alex's way

Horribly scripted, rife with dramatic pauses and over acting, and apparently all the interviewers are bad listeners. Repeating statements as questions constantly throughout the series to emphasis the content quickly becomes a tired and overused gimmick. Was hoping it would be great, believable, engaging. It is not.

Ugh, this entire podcast is so horribly scripted. Dramatic pauses galore, just so very over-acted.
