She brings a decade of experience in fundraising,  marketing, and nonprofit management, paired with impact investing and  legal expertise and a passion and track record for strategic planning  and implementation.

After watching the interview between Funk Butcher & Defected Records CEO Simon Dunmore during MIxmag Blackout Week in which he claims "He Had To Re-Educate Himself", DJ E-Clyps extended and invitation for him to come to the Blacklight Sessions to dig deeper into where the interview left off. After requests for this conversation to happen, including from fans as well: Simon declined.  This episode dives into the interview with excerpts from it as well as the questions gleaned from it. 

In this episode, DJ E-Clyps expresses his views and personal experiences  on what Mixmag has declared 'Blackout Week' - said to be "a week of editorial dedicated exclusively to Black artists, issues and stories."  He also dives into his experiences in his attempts since the protests  to get Dance Music companies to help rectify the injustices that have  occurred with Black Artists, and how the culture can make real changes  that exceed just talk.
