Shannon Dunn-Downing is a pioneer. She was an early halfpipe rider who pushed the limits of women's snowboarding constantly. She was the first American woman to win a snowboarding medal at the Winter Olympics when she took bronze in the halfpipe in 1998. On top of that, she then had the first successfully marketed and supported women's pro model snowboard. There's no doubt that documented history is essential for progression. Mia Lambson is here to prove that. Being one of the few women filmers in the snowboarding space gave Mia a unique experience as she found her footing in the industry. She's worked for Snowboarder Mag and Brighton, been a part of countless snowboard films, and worked a ton of jobs outside of snowboarding space as well.
