We're back after a month and a half break.  Here's what's up. Mike and Dave give their glossing opinions of what showed up at E3, such as Watch Dogs, Beyond: Two Souls, the Last of Us, and the Smart Glass tech. We're excited for Borderlands 2.  Go watch the new Wimoweh trailer. Dave doesn't like the new Limited Edition Halo Xbox. Dave goes over Minecraft updates. Mike squees over the Guild Wars 2 release date. Mike almost got a job at Ubisoft.  But he didn't. Sad face. New plans are possibly in the works for Boss Battle Podcast. Mike and Dave go over the VGAs yet again and open up the year with a retrospective over the titles that came out last year.  They also provide a bit of commentary on what they're excited to see this coming year.  Also, there's a surprise!  Here's the notes for this podcast. Game of the Year.  They got it right. Debate over the best character.  Joker versus Wheatley. A run down of the best of {system} and best of {genre}. Interesting notes:  Best of PC. (Winner: Portal 2.) Best Shooter... MW3?  Really?  Well, they had to give it something. Best of RPG. (Winner: Skyrim.)  But still a good competition. Best Multiplayer - Portal 2.  Yes, MW3.  Suck it. Best Fighter. (Winner: Mortal Kombat). Best Motion Game (Winner: Skyward Sword) Should SS even count? Rise of Nightmares review.  Verdict: Rent it. Warhammer 40K Space Marine.  BUY IT.  Great single player combat and solid multi-player. Mike and Dave are back again, getting ready for the beginning of the holiday rush.  Granted, we're already tired. We're both excited for Gotham City Imposters.  And we've only seen the trailer. Dave comments on his take of the Borderlands 2 footage. Batman: Arkham City achievements have been unveiled. Mike has a Kinect.  And he loves Fruit Ninja Kinect.  And provides his insight on it thus far. Publishers shouldn't release EVERYTHING ALL at once.  We tell you why. EA uses Origin to gather personal information and sells it to 3rd party. Our ruling: EA makes good games.  Otherwise they're douche bags. Mike is also kind of a big deal. Mike provides his opinion on the Bodycount and Space Marine. Chainswords are win. Mike, Benji, and Dave weigh in on Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
