Description
The Brazen Truth is the podcast about morality, sexuality and spirituality according to the Bible. In this podcast we will talk about everything you aren’t supposed to talk about in the church. I am tired of hearing the ‘wrong’ people talk about these topics and the ‘right’ people remain absolutely silent. We are going to talk about gender, sexuality, homosexuality, sex, pornography, and sexual abuse. But don’t let that freak you out. We are keeping it PG-13. We will also talk about the dynamics of the family unit in society, blended families, individual identity, ideological taboos and all things unspoken in the Church. So gather all the awkward questions you can think of and join me, Tiphanie Keator, in my brazen quest to disarm shame with the truth of God’s word. ’Brazen’ defined: bold and without shame.

Some Christians are dying on the wrong hill.
Jesus said, "Pick up your cross and follow me." They tried to get Jesus to be a political leader but He had chosen to come without a political agenda.
He refused to take up the political banner of the political crisis they were facing because He came to die for the sins of the world, not as a political martyr.
In this week's podcast we talk about the importance of following the example of Jesus in choosing the right hill to die on.
"Then give back to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's." Luke 20:25

Join us as we talk about how Jesus uses offenses to challenge people to level up; to set aside our pride and our right to be offended and live in such a way that nothing will be impossible for us.
There are multiple examples throughout the history of the Bible where Jesus uses "offenses" to bring blessings.
For example, Jesus likened a Canaanite woman to a dog after ignoring her cries for help, and, because her faith overruled her offense, she received what she came for.. Her daughter was healed.
Jesus braided a whip on a hilltop then used it to trash the Temple because the Temple was filled with people seeking their own selfish gain.
Jesus challenged the wealthy religious man to give up his wealth if he truly wished to gain the Kingdom of God.
Jesus called out the woman by the well for being promiscuous, insulted her cultural traditions and then offered her Living Water.
We all have a choice.. get offended, or see through to the blessing and growth that comes after the offense.
Join us in the discussion of how God has a plan and a purpose for everything and, everyone, He creates.
Ever wonder why women in the Old Testament had to isolate during that "time of the month?"... We have!
Also, stick around for a surprise announcement!

In this episode we talk about new age spirituality, and how the enemy takes the word of God, and twists it into a deceitful lie.
With the rise of "New Age" spirituality, we believe it's important to confront the deception the enemy has crafted to deceive into self-centeredness, self-gratification, and Idolatry.
"Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings."
-1 Peter 5:8-9
Highlights:
- The enemy rips off & copies the word of God
- Crystals - Romans 1:25
- Manifestation - Psalm 73: 3, 8-11
- Third Eye awakening / Reaching your "higher-self"
- The devil is a lame
