Today is one of those days where all I know to do is pray. And to ask you to pray as well. Palestinian leadership has sent in their framework for what the need for a ceasefire and now the nations at the table will HAVE to find a way to make it work. Please pray for their success, OK?
And, as we speak, the Israeli military has surrounded one of the last remaining hospitals in Gaza, and are killing anyone that comes or goes. Some of my closest friends in Gaza are in there right now. Please also pray for them!

Every night is horrible in Gaza. Without fail. But somehow, last night was one of the worst ever as Israel and the United States bombed refugee camps all over Rafah, in Southern Gaza. Over 1.6 million Palestinians have crammed into a community meant for 150,000 people - after they were told it was a safe zone, but now they are being bombed endlessly.
And the fallout is beyond words. What I saw last night took my breath away.

Last week the International Court of Justice ruled that Israel is committing genocide and, in essence, ordered them to stop all genocidal actions, genocidal speech, and to open up ports for humanitarian aid. And gave them 30 days to do so.
We are now within that 30 day period and Israel is in full, open defiance of every one of those orders. The genocide is in full force. The question now is this: what will the ICJ, and the rest of the world, do about it?

From Biden to Reagan it is now historically recorded that every American president for the past half century has been involved in egregious domestic scandals with the exception of Obama. Barack was directly & openly obstructed in governance by the GOP, and he operated from a misguided standpoint of believing that his administration had no obligations to his Black constituency which is the most ignored voting block historically as well as the one predominantly responsible for his being elected. With that said, he remains the only president in decades not to have earned a scandalous legacy -- doing wrong by Black folk aside.

It's hurtful to hear of this, however, it's not surprising. I know a lot of people will say "go high". "When they go low -- we go high", and all that. But they're not putting things in proper perspective. This is not just slander or mud-slinging. This is a subtle form of warfare which can become a loud, blaring act of war.
