During these podcasts you'll be hearing a series of essays on art and culture, written and performed by me: Parna Maloumi, hoping that you’d find these subjects as interesting as I do. They will be short and sweet, something to have as a side dish, on your breakfast menu.
The phrase "Nooshe Jawn" which you can hear me say at the end of the episode is Persian for:
Enjoy your meal. (or rather: Hope you enjoyed your meal, depending on the timing.)
It's a phrase commonly used in Iran by the party host at either the beginning or the end of a meal.
The phrase can also be loosely translated as: Bon Appétit.
