Interview & Analysis: Peace in the Middle East, The China-Russia-Ukraine Connection & Charlie Kirk Day w/Jon Decker
During the Biden administration I’d regularly say that everyday Joe Biden was president of the United States the world was less safe. Every day that Donald Trump is president of the United States the world is proving to be a safer place.
The best way I know to illustrate how arbitrary the Nobel prizes are, is the example of the Academy Awards. When the Hollywood industry elites gather each year to award Oscars, they’ll issue awards for the “best actor and actress” and for the “Best picture”, etc. Does that mean that the best actor over the previous year was the actor or actress was issued the award or that the “best picture” released during the year is what the Academy says it is? Of course not, right? It’s what members of the Academy say is so. As we know, it’s a highly subjective process. Nobel prizes are no different. They’re highly subjective prizes awarded by select insiders that hold no empirical significance.
September represented another massive win for Republicans over Democrats in Florida. The Republican advantage over Democrats now stands at a record 1,387,455. That total includes a net change of 31,968 voters in September. Of Florida’s 67 counties – only 8 currently have Democrat majorities by way of voter registration. It's clear that the trends that were in place prior to last year’s election cycle have continued to play out after it as well.

The partial government shutdown and Trump’s Chinese Tariff Polices are in Focus. The financial markets, and stock market in particular, had held up particularly well during the first week and a half of the partial government shutdown. That was not the case on Friday when President Trump’s threat of imposing a new 100% tariff on Chinese imports (above and beyond current tariffs) effective November 1st was announced.

The Norwegian Nobel Institute registered a total of 338 candidates for the 2025 peace prize, of which 244 were individuals and 94 are organizations. As stated by the Nobel Committee: The Peace Prize has principally been awarded to honor efforts in four main areas: arms control and disarmament, peace negotiation, democracy and human rights, and work aimed at creating a better organized and more peaceful world. It’s clearly laughable that Donald Trump didn’t win.

As we reflect on those we’ve lost, please remember the families of our fallen as well. The average age of the fallen is 42; the average tour-of-duty is 12 years. In addition to losing 72 law enforcement professionals in the line-of-duty this year, there are 49 widows and 125 children who lost a parent. Remember to back the badge and spread the word. They need us just as much as we need them.
Given that this is Hamas’ charter...given that Hamas has carried out the greatest atrocities against the Jewish people since the Holocaust...given that Hamas remains the next-door neighbor of Israel and has made clear that they don’t believe in ceasefires or peaceful solutions... It’s appropriate to take their words at face value. They don’t intend for peace. They’re simply regrouping. Today is a great day, make no mistake, but this isn’t the end because for those who believe as Hamas believes, the end is Jihad. Which means our willingness to keep the peace by keeping Islamic terrorists at bay will be the key to maintaining it.

Effectively, in a polarized America, where partisan divides fuel everything from family feuds to social snubs, bumper stickers aren’t going to sway anyone to your position, however they may result in more hostility being directed towards you.
