Description

Born out of countless hours spent riding the subway bearing the same name comes "The Broad Street Line" - an irreverent mix of sports talk, music, technology and pop culture. Each week, hosts Kris Domingo and Roy Burton provide their takes on the world of sports and whatever else comes to mind - answering questions and questioning answers. So keep it locked on The Broad Street Line - radio will never be the same again...

On this pre-Thanksgiving edition of The Broad Street Line, Kris and Roy hope that the "new wrinkle" that Kevin Patullo promises for the Philadelphia Eagles' offense brings the team success on Black Friday. The pair also gives you their thoughts on the upcoming Survivor Series card.
The spiral continues for the Birds as they get absolutely bodied by the Chicago Bears on Black Friday. Can the Eagles right the ship before the Cowboys overtake them in the NFC East? We discuss that and also try to figure out exactly what's going on with Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers.
We were SUPPOSED to spend most of the episode talking about the Philadelphia Eagles, but we wound up taking the first 40 minutes discussing John Cena's GOAT status and whether or not anyone in WWE can reach the level that he has. We do eventually get around to previewing the Birds/Cowboys game at some point...
By the end of the Eagles' game against the Detroit Lions this week, we'll know exactly how good the Birds are and what we can expect for the rest of the regular season... hopefully. We also celebrate John Cena finally joining the list of Grand Slam Champions in WWE.
The bye week is when most teams rest, but rest is for the weary... and not for Howie Roseman. The GM of the Philadelphia Eagles makes a couple of key moves to bolster the defense as the Birds' head into the second half of the schedule. Also, we have to show some love to perhaps the greatest World Series in the history of baseball.
Are the 4-0 Philadelphia 76ers for real? Well, probably not THIS for real, but let's enjoy the ride while it's happening. It's also a good time to talk midterm grades for the Philadelphia Eagles... yes, they're among the best in the NFC, but there are very few A grades - and performances - to show for it.
Another week, another cryptic A.J. Brown post... this one comes after the All-Pro receiver scored twice on Sunday. Are the Eagles a passing team now? We'll debate that question, lay some money down on the Sixers' win total this season, and give kudos to Shohei Ohtani for the greatest performance any of us has ever seen.
Should the Philadelphia Eagles spend draft capital to bring in rentals/mercenaries for the stretch run? It's worked in the past, and unless you believe the answers are in that locker room, then it's the only solution. Kris and Roy debate that topic and pour liquor on the Phils as they get packed up by the Dodgers in the NLDS.
The issues with the Philadelphia Eagles' offense are clear, but can they be fixed this season? We debate the answer to that question, and grade each unit on the team as we're now about a third of the way through the season.
The Eagles' offense is stagnant once again, and A.J. Brown has resorted to posting Bible verses on social media. We dive deep into the latest surrounding the Birds and explain why everything isn't peaches and cream despite the undefeated record. Later in the show, we run down the PWI Top 10 for 2025.
This week on The Broad Street Line, we prepare for a battle of the undefeateds and the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 4. The Bucs have had the Birds' number in recent years, but Tampa Bay will be playing with a short deck with Mike Evans out.
If you're a fan of the graps, well... baby, this weekend is for you. We've got All Out Toronto, and we've got the first-ever Wrestlepalooza on tap as well. But, before we get to all of that, we've got an Eagles/Rams game to talk about. Just remember: This is a rematch, and not a revenge game...
Tank Bigsby and Za'Darius Smith join the Philadelphia Eagles just in time for their rematch against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 2. With only 4 targets for A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith last week, Kris and Roy try to figure out how to get the Eagles' passing game on track. And, all due respect to the Eagles, but the Bills/Ravens Week 1 matchup may have been the Game of the Year.
Philadelphia's long-lasting nightmare ends as FanDuel pledges to cover the costs of running extra trains for the home opener. As this was recorded before said game, we still had a lot of questions about the Eagles heading into the 2025 season. And, as we do every year, we - or, at least, Kris - predict the stats for the Birds on both sides of the ball for all 17 games.
No surprises on the Eagles' 53-man roster, but an injury to Tanner McKee means that Sam Howell is QB2 for now. In more pressing Philadelphia sports news, with Zack Wheeler out for the season, is the Phillies' rotation strong enough to get them through October? And is this the best week of the college football season?
The Philadelphia Eagles are still the favorites to repeat in the NFC, but there are a fair amount of questions surrounding the Birds to make you question their ability to make it back to the Super Bowl. Kris and Roy discuss that, the WRs and TEs that you need to keep an eye on in the world of fantasy, and finish off with a breakdown of the WWE's latest deal.
Caleb Williams... or Caleb Johnson? Is Saquon Barkley fantasy RB1 after a 2,000-yard season? And why do we love Dak Prescott so much? Kris and Roy explain all of that as they break down the QB and RB positions from a fantasy perspective. But before all of that, we say a few prayers for Landon Dickerson, and discuss YET ANOTHER quarterback ranking, this time courtesy of The Athletic.
Did WWE take it too far with its latest swerve? It's hard to say, but it made for a VERY intriguing Night One of Summer Slam. We discuss that, the BIG return on Night Two and, most importantly, the coming out party for Tanner F. McKee.
Hulk Hogan's passing has led to a lot of uncomfortable conversations over the past few days. However, despite his failings as a person, he is one of the most important figures in the history of professional wrestling. We discuss his impact on the sport and talk a bit about WWE's Unreal... does it show us too much behind the scenes?
After we spend an inordinate amount of time talking about the greatness of Scottie Scheffler and Tiger Woods, we dive into the greatness that is... NFL training camp season. Most of the questions surrounding the Philadelphia Eagles have to do with the defense, and the position battles are already underway down at the Novacare Complex. We also get confirmation that Jalen Hurts is built differently than pretty much every other quarterback alive.
