Who wouldn’t want to get into the mind of the bulldog community? Well we are super jacked to bring you the Bulldog Interviews. Since I picked up my first Bulldog in 1996 I have been part of the Bulldog community and established a ton of connections. Gleaning morsels of knowledge at almost every interaction with others in this great community. Running BullyNet.com since 2001, I have been exposed to so many question from other Bulldoggers that I did not have the answers for. So, I turn to the people that have the answers. Now I’m bringing to you interviews from people who have the best interest of the Bulldogs at heart, from veterinarians, rescue, breeders, handlers, club officers, great pet owners, Bulldog products, celebs with Bulldogs, pretty much anyone who can assist the bulldog community we will be interviewing and bringing that info to you.

Dr. Allan Frank talks about Dermatology and Bulldogs Dr. Frank discusses Bulldogs and their skin. Dr. Frank covers MRSA, MRSP, Flank alopecia, Interdigital furunculosis/cyst, Fold dermatitis (facial, tail and vulva), Atopy / allergies, Ear diseases – infection, stenotic ear canals, Malassezia and Demodex. Jack grew up in Charlotte North Carolina. He and his family are from the west Michigan/Grand Rapids area. Jack's grandfather had a Bulldog when Jack was a kid and that stuck with him. Jack is also an avid bird hunter, with his German Shorthaired Pointer. Jack is a BCA member, past member of the West Michigan Bulldog Club, and will be rejoining. Pauline DeVito is from Pennsylvania and has been in Bulldogs since 1986. Pauline is a member of the Lenape Bulldog Club of PA, which is where I first met her. She is also a BCA member and a member of the Philly Bulldog Club. If you watched the National Dog Show on Thanksgiving Day 2014, you saw Pauline in the Non-sporting group. Our interview was recorded weeks before the show. Pauline is BCA Hall of Fame Breeder, with 17 home bred AKC champions and 22 total champions. There is much more in this interview. Enjoy.

Lottie Elliott is from Ohio and along with her husband Jeff they are Hurricane Bulldogs Hurricane Bulldogs has been around since the 1990’s and the recently finished their 24th Bred-By AKC Champion and they are Bulldog Club of America Hall of Fame Breeders. Rhonda Ullrich from Long Island and been into Bulldog since 2009. We discuss the great Bulldog community and how unique it is. Great discussion on daily cleaning of the bulldog wrinkles with hydrogen peroxide wipes. She uses a vet Dr Randy Carpenter in Grand Rapids Michigan an 11 hour drive. This Bulldog Interview is with Eric Cleary, who is a bulldog pet owner.  In our first interview from the pet owners perspective we get to see the inside his world.  Eric owns two bulldogs Rocco (on his left) and Baylee (on his right).  Eric gives a shout out to Dan Bandy and Dr Joel Wilson in the interview.  Eric reached out and expressed encouragement to us about the Bulldog Interviews and we jumped at the opportunity to sit down and get bulldogs from a pet owner’s perspective.

The first guest of the Bulldog Interviews is Nancy Schultz.   Nancy is known as the bulldog groomer and has demonstrated at dog shows all over the world showing how to properly groom a bulldog. Nancy has been handling show dogs for decades and can be found most weekends grooming and showing bulldogs.  If you want to learn how to groom your bulldog, Nancy is the one to see. Some highlights from this interview: Taught all breed handling and obedience Started in working breeds First bulldog in 1980 was a pet rescue Member of BCA, Capitol Bulldog Club 1955 assistant handler at the Westminster Dog Show where coincidently a Bulldog won Best in Show.  Nancy was not involved with the breed at that time. Handled Ch Bowag’s Polar to Best in Show at the 1986 BCA National show, as well as Ch. Brumar's Call Me Higgins  to Best in Show at the 1990 BCA National show
