The CW's new content is still riding the bench when it comes to Sabrina Reed, Michael Patterson, and Reed Gauden's watch list, but the trio do have news to share about the network this week. Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa revealed Riverdale's final season could have taken viewers out of the '50s and into more decades but the writers room showed restraint. Sullivan's Crossing and The Spencer Sisters' debuted to strong numbers (at least on The CW's scale), and there's reportedly a premiere window for All American, All American: Homecoming, Superman & Lois, and Walker. As for the CW Spiral's Tarzan journey, they may be a bit ahead of the plot but no one can say this group isn't invested. Episode 3, "Wages of Sin," put the case of the week in the driver's seat to mixed results but the use of Matt Nathanson as a theme for our hero was an excellent decision.Looking for a specific part of the pod?
