S2E6: Meet our new host: Ross Rebagliati

The Canadian Potcast has a new host. In 1998 Ross Rebagliati became the first Olympic snowboarding gold medalist, but it was what happened next that made his name synonymous with cannabis: his medal was revoked for a positive drug test, then reinstated on appeal when it turned out that cannabis wasn’t actually banned. In the 25 years since then he has reinvented himself as a campaigner, entrepreneur and advocate… so we’re really excited to welcome him to the Canadian Potcast as our new host. Don Shafer isn’t going anywhere though, and in this episode he gets to know our new colleague a little better, and talks about the highs and lows of his life and career after that fateful run in Nagano ‘98. This podcast is intended for a mature audience over 19 years of age and is provided on an educational and informational basis. Any material presented is for informational purposes only, and should not be taken as a substitute for professional medical advice, or as an endorsement or medical claim by Pattison Media, Everything Podcasts, or Ripco.pro

Then we’re going to delve into pot’s problem with plastic: from Ziploc baggies to doob tubes, cannabis is almost always wrapped in plastic… so why is that? And how do we fix it?
