🫠 Why am I not bouncing back postpartum? If you’ve ever wondered that, this episode is for you.
I’m pulling back the curtain on a hormone most of us only think of as “the milk maker” — prolactin. We’ll talk about how prolactin reshapes your metabolism after birth, why it encourages fat storage in specific places (hips, thighs, arms, and belly), and how it interacts with thyroid, sex hormones, insulin, and dopamine.
You’ll hear why your body is holding on to weight even when you’re eating clean and exercising, and why that’s not a sign of failure — it’s actually a sign that your body is brilliantly protecting your baby and your milk supply.
Instead of chasing the bounce-back, I’ll share what I’m focusing on instead: protein, blood sugar balance, strength and gentle movement, and daily practices to support dopamine, lower stress, and build strength for the long haul.
If you’re in a season of discouragement with your postpartum body, this conversation will help you breathe easier, release the pressure to bounce back, and trust the wisdom of God's design. 🫶🏼💜

💸✨ Money is about more than just spreadsheets and budgets - it’s about peace, freedom, and even nervous system health.
In this episode, I welcome back Cristal DuBois for a powerful conversation on biblical financial stewardship and its impact on our whole-person wellness.
Cristal and her husband have walked a journey from debt to financial freedom, paying off more than $150,000 in 5 years while still enjoying family milestones, traveling to see their sons, and living generously. She shares candidly how debt once caused tension, anxiety, and constant stress—and how aligning with God’s design for stewardship brought restoration to both their finances and their marriage.

🥯 Ever wonder why gluten and dairy feel like enemies when they’re meant to be nourishing, God-made foods? In this episode, we break down leaky gut, how it fuels autoimmunity and food sensitivities, and why the real problem isn’t always the food itself—it’s the terrain of your gut. 🏠
You’ll learn:
- What leaky gut actually is (in simple terms)
-Why gluten and dairy are such common triggers
-The boy who cried wolf analogy that makes sense of food sensitivities
-How traditional foods like freshly milled flour and raw milk can be healing—once your gut is ready
-The 4R framework for restoring gut health and calming the immune system
🤔 If you’ve ever felt confused about whether you have leaky gut, what the root causes of autoimmune disease are, or if bread or milk are bad for you, this episode will bring clarity and hope. ✨ ♥️

🌈 🕊️ In today’s episode, we dive into the incredible truth that God designed our bodies with an innate capacity to heal and restore. Drawing inspiration from Dr. Ben Rall’s book - Designed To Heal - and recent research, we’ll look at how modern science continues to affirm what Scripture has told us all along—you are fearfully and wonderfully made.
🧪🧬 From everyday examples like a cut healing on your finger, to the awe-inspiring discovery of microchimerism (where a mother carries her child’s cells long after pregnancy to help her body heal), you’ll see just how intentional God’s design really is. We’ll also talk about why healing sometimes gets “stuck,” how modern medicine can support but never replace God’s design, and practical ways you can partner with your body’s healing today.
🙏🏼 This episode will leave you with a fresh sense of awe at God’s brilliance in creation and a renewed confidence that you were made for abundant life and vibrant health.
