Absolutely loved this episode! Alex's tales are incredible. I've been away from fishing for over 15 years but during the lockdown I've dusted my gear off and brought a few additional items to the joy of my wife 😬🤣. I've taken my children to my local small estate pond and caught lots of nice small carp, tench and roach. Last weekend I got back involved with carp fishing with my 1st overnighter and had a lovley 17lb 2oz mirror, caught on a bait works monster red wafter soaked in scent from hell with a small pva bag of monster red pellets. Listening to your podcasts and being back on the bank with my family and friends has definitely re ignited my love for fishing. Also your views on carp and wildlife care are so spot on and definitely something I will be a lot more mindful of.
