The “Carpathian Storyteller Podcast” Storytelling initiative is your portal, Mondays and Thursdays, to the untold and internationally unknown fairy tales, legends, short stories, theatre, incantations & fables from the Carpathian lands like Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Ukraine, Poland, Serbia. Take a journey into the mythological, magical or cultist practices of these lands through their unique ancient folk stories and tales depicting a culturally diverse and tumultuous history. Gathering, properly translating, adapting and voicing these tales for you is Ovidiu Platon, a Romanian born social entrepreneur, volunteer and storytelling enthusiast with a dream of indexing, popularizing and disseminating these unique stories and tales in the global cultural space, through the persona of the "CarpathianStoryteller". Enriching the lives we live, the dreams we have and the stories we tell.
